MSG Monosodium Glutamate Does it give you Migraines and other problems?

It give me very awful migraines, they are so bad that I will not purchase anything with it and read the ingredient lists on all food packages before I even consider buying it.

My fiancee has a family member that always says she gets migraines from MSG. She has a couple of quirky ideas, so I just blew it off as one of those. She's so fanatical about it. But, now that I see you're posting it, I guess it may be true. She does the same, reads ingredients, asks at restaurants, etc.

it is very real, the migraines hurt so bad that it feels like sumo wrestlers are sitting on your head whlie your brain is trying to explode out, and your eyeballs feel like they are being stabbed by knives. Tehre are different variations though. some people get a mild headache, while others can get a 'clouded-head' feeling, kind of like when you have hay fever or something. and others it doesn't affect at all.
The ones who it doesn't affect usualy have the same reaction and thoughts as you.
My fiancee's family thinks I'm a nut, so I just don't bother talking about it any more, if I don't know what is in the food, I just won't eat it.
