I try my best to think before i talk. but there are occassions when something dumb happens to slip my mouth.. I had a teacher that used to tell us to load our brains before we shot our mouths off. I think that really stuck with me.. he was a really good teacher.

If I have to talk with someone really important I preplan and go for discussing. But If we are in a discussion and some thing strikes in the middle of the discussion (some topic) we actually don't have enough time to think about what we are talking and make a mess.

Yes, I'm a thinker. I tend to think out and rationalize my thought patterns before verbalizing them into coherent speech. It's a shame that more people don't take the time to think how their words are going to affect the other party before they say them.

nice topic.
I guess I'm an impulsive speaker. I say what comes to my mind. and being too honest can sometimes damage relationships. You'd think people appreciate honesty these days. nope they don't. I mean, i'd personally prefer an honest comment. At that first moment you might feel a pang of hurt or whatever, but its good. At least you know where you stand. We are all becoming hypocrites to some extend. we don't say what we think.
but i guess during classes or formal meetings, i think before i say anything.

For the most part I do think before I speak. I often overthink what I'm about to say and end up keeping it to myself though.

It really depends on what I have to say and definitely what mood that I am in at the time.
If I am not in a good mood and I am angry let's say, I might just start talking very quickly and saying whatever thing comes to mind. Especailly if it is in an arguement with my husband. I usually seem to have alot to say. I might be very worked up so I am not sure that everything I sm saying makes quite that much sense, but at the time it feels right!lol.
Now, if I am having a very serious heart to heart or someone is upset and I am consoling them I speak very carefully. I have to so that I say the right things. I find that people that are very upset can take things the wrong way so it's best to just be carefull! Happy Mylotting!

Hi, vinay!
I usually don't think before talking, but I'm a very quiet person, and I don't talk a lot. Since I listen so much of the time, I don't make too many foolish mistakes in conversation.

hi, it depends to whom am speaking with if I am with my close friends I feel free so speak whatever comes up in my mind but with strangers and some officials I think before uttering any words, cause little bit of twisting sentence can make lots of problems and create misunderstands.

i am an impulsive speaker only when i lose temper, otherwise i think before speaking. while talking continuously i am a bit slow so that i keep the thinking process on. it is always good to think before speaking. there are less chances of a slip of tongue and lesser chances that you speak out something that you don't wish to.
