I have a curious question regarding burning music its something I've always wondered about but wasn't sure if its possible or not, my question is the same as the title of this discussion. can you burn over CDs that have already been burned? I'm referring to blink CDs that you buy in the store like for example if you buy them then you burn music on it, but later you decide to reburn that (same CD) is that possible?. it might be silly to ask, but I really want to know.

yes it is. I did it a couple of times.
if the CD is already burned then it can be burned again
I usually reformat the CD to empty it completely then I will burn music or files on it again
but if you want to keep the first items you burned on it previously, then you can copy the next set of items and paste them into the CD

I'm not 100% sure but I think some Cd allow you to do that but you can't take away music just add music. I think only some brand of Cd can do but I htink most can't but I'm not 100% sure of this. I try to do that couple of times Try burning more music on a old Cd but it didn't work. Well yeah I wish you luck. =]

hi, apple99
If the cd is rewritable, yes, you can. but normally the CD is not rewritable, which means you can not burn it, the CD reader will directly tell you it is a used cd. you can check the mark of the CD, if it is CDRW means: cd rewritable. good luck
