There have been three vacations that I've particularly enjoyed. The first was with my family to Yellowstone, the next was with a tour group to the British Isles and the third was with my brother and sister and a friend to England. There was so much to see and do on each of these trips and I was with people that I cared about and enjoyed being with.

I went on my best vacation alone. I got a cheap flight to Cancun in Mexico then I caught a bus south towards the border with Belize. I spent a night there then continued to Belize City by bus. Next I got a ferry over to Caye Caulker, a lovely tropical island. I spent a few fantastic days there swimming, snorkeling and going on boat trips. I saw sting rays and nurse sharks. I liked seeing the manatees too. Then I went by boat back to the mainland and took a bus to Cayo. I got a taxi out to Bullet Tree Falls to a tree house. Staying in that was exciting. I went on an excellent cave adventure. Next I went to explore Mayan ruins at Tikal. Seeing the sunrise there was awesome. Then I went to Flores on the lake. It was beautiful and tranquil. I went back to Belize to visit another Mayan ruin. I arrived there by river and heard a jaguar. Wow! On my way back up the coast I stayed in a beach hut for a couple of days. It was such a lovely vacation full of adventure. The next year my toddler son was born and so far he has been with me to five different countries.

My best vacation was May of 2007. I went to visit my relatives in South Korea with my mom and my sister, and stayed for almost 3 weeks. It wasn't really a lot of traveling but the fact of spending time with my relatives, my aunts, uncles, cousins and my grandfather was meant a lot for the first time (except for my grandfather, he went to visit my country years back when I was younger). We went to see our other relatives and ate good traditional Korean food. Experience the lifestyle of South Korean. Get to see some of the nice places in Seoul and some other places near the area. It was worth experiencing and a memorable one. I'd love to visit them again, and that next time with my dad.

Hi anna,
I am sure most people agree with me that "honeymoon" is the Best Vacation one has ever been to. At least 9 out of 10 people would readily agree with me.
The same was the case with me.
My Honeymoon, I planned for Puri. Even though I am from South India and most South Indians prefer Ooty and Kodaikanal. And sometimes, Manali. I wanted to be different and chose Puri.
Puri is a Pilgrimage Place and most importantly a Beach. Now Puri has a wonderful Beach and the place we stayed, Sterling Resorts, is in a absolutely pristine location. The Sterling Puri casts a spell on you with its mesmerizing charm.
You should stay there to enjoy it. Words cannot describe the beauty of the place.
We also went to Chilika Lake, which is the Largest Lake in Asia!!
Great Vacation. Truly Unforgettable.
Thank you, Anna for bringing back pleasant memories.

if u haven't been on a cruise, it is the number one thing i recommend. cruising is an experience to be had! there is always something to do and you never have to drive or pay extra. when u pay for ur ticket u r paying for a room to sleep in, daily maid service, free (yes, free) room service at any time, all the food u can imagine whether u want to hit the buffet and be casual, or if u want a fancy dining experience. u dress up in ur finest clothes and have dinner, then go to the shows. awesome shows.
then there r night clubs, casino, library(if u'r not into partying), pools, hot tubs, bars, fitness room, spa, basketball court...
u name it. i had alot of fun that first cruise. the second one was the same as the first so it wasnt as captivating, because i had been on the same ship to the same place before.

The best vacation I ever had was a road trip with my family and a friend of mine to new mexico. I didn't like the fact that I was with my family because I really can't stand them but being able to go with my friend out of texas was amazing. We went to this little city in new mexico and stayed at a condo. Me and my friend would wonder around the streets of this little town. I had so much fun. We all also took a trip to the coast together and that trip was just as amazing!!

I think our best vacation so far was our last trip to disney world. It was the first trip down there as a family. The other trips I was a kid going with my parents. The last trip I was married and had a baby of my own. We rented a house to stay in and went to the parks. It was a lot of fun. I really hope we can go again soon.

I went to Pucket with my parents last year. It was really a beautiful island. The sea is the same colour as the sky. We love it very much. Perhaps we will visit it in the future.
