Is Windows XP still the BEST EVER OS as it was when released?

It has been 8 years since the REvolutionary Windows XP released...
Though too much of THIRD PARTY SOFTWARES, MALWARES, VIRUSES.. made the OS to be known as errorsome and SLOW....Do you think it still stands the test of time.. being the best for almost a decade?

When you have been exposed to Windows and its proprietary software for the majority of your life, it is easy to see how one can think one of the versions may be the best OS ever. However, I encourage you to try Linux - that in my opinion is the 'best OS ever'. Not only is it insanely faster, but it is a lot prettier, can run on very old computers and has absolutely no proprietary software, meaning it can legally be downloaded for free from any of the Linux distribution websites out there.
My personal favorite which I can recommend, is Sabayon Linux. Good luck and happy myLotting!

I USE LINUX...
Just wanted to know the point of view of the existing windows Users...Whether they are using.. vista.. or still stick to XP.. Or are they really thinking of switchin to OPEN SOURCE!!..
