Does anyone knows how to play .rmvb file?

I have some movies in .rmvb files. I Try to play it at my windows media player, GOM player, vlc player and windows media player classic but all cannot open this file. Is there anyone knows how to play it? Or suggest a player?...

finisher06 get the new gomplayer or media player classic.Also use codec packs like klite.

finisher06 This method is not recommended bcoz your sis will be living in ur home for a long time.Frequent dismantling may harm it.

It has been 8 years since the REvolutionary Windows XP released... Though too much of THIRD PARTY SOFTWARES, MALWARES, VIRUSES.. made the OS to be known as errorsome and SLOW....Do you think it still stands the test of time.....
