Three weeks ago my baby daughter was born. She weighed 8 pounds when she was born and she is steadily gaining weight. She has a small amount of dark brown eyes and blue eyes. She has long legs with larger feet that I expected. She is outgoing some of the 0 to 3 month clothes. I have called her Amber. I feel so lucky to have her. My sons are getting used to having a bay sister. Ryan is 14 and Leo is 2 years old.
Did having your daughter make you feel really happy?
How old is she now?

Hello...
Congratulations and I like to welcome Amber to our world. From the way you have described your daughter, I'm sure she brings a lot of joy into your family's lives. It's exciting to see how Amber's big brothers become her protectors when she grows up to a lovely young lady.
I gave birth to a 7 pounds and 2 ounces baby girl. And we named her Hannah. She's going to be 4 months old this April 11. Honestly, when I was still pregnant with her, I wasn't sure if I'm going to love her as much as I love her big brother. My son's going to be 6 years old this September.
But, you really can't expect the unexpected. The first time I have seen her, I fell in love right away. Then, I knew... I will love her the same way I love her brother.

So good to hear about your baby daughter. She is happy to have two brothers. Hope to share your follos ups.
My grandson has a cousin, daughter of his mom's sister, who is two years younger. He is proud to have his cousin, whom he calls litter sister. They meet every other week and go out for outdoor activities. Single child needs to have friends, a cousin is lucky for him.

Congratulations on the birth of your new baby girl! I have three girls and no boys. My daughters are 11, 7 and 6 years old. They are the light of my life. They're always making me laugh and cry and shout and sing lol. I think my life would be very boring and lonely without my girls and their daddy. I was scared at first thinking oh no, i was a girl lol, and i know what a handful I was. But now i realize that circumstances in my life as a kid. made me a handful. Circumstances in my daughters lives are different and so far so good. Of course, soon enough i'll have three teenage girls in the house at one time. I'll go crazy! lol

i feel happy for you to get a lovely daughter. Before i gave birth to a child i really wished it will be a girl . i like girls very much . As you know in China people only can have one child now. But this year i gave birth to a fat boy . Of course i also feel happy .

I really like the name Amber:)
I know the feeling. I was so happy when my daughter was born - she is 19 now. But them she was my first baby :) I was equally happy with my son, 3 years after. And to be honest, so far, he has given me less worries than she has ... but hey, that's life :):):)

I envy that you have a daughter:) I have a son only. I always dream to have a daughter because it seems that having a daughter will be less troublesome than a son. In the past I read an article. Scientists found that the moms who have daughters usually have longer lives than moms who have sons. Perhaps daughters are considerate, careful and understanding, it makes mom happy.

Hello maximax. Congratulations to you on having got a daughter that is so cute. My wife also wanted to have a daughter after the first son, but instead she got another baby son, our baby son we love so much. Babies grow so fast that we feel so happy to see our baby son grow up with the tender care. Enjoy your life, friend.

I'm so glad you're enjoying your lovely new daughter, Maxi. I have three daughters - Joanna, Victoria and Susannah. They are in their 20s now, and all grew up to be lovely, independent young ladies. My son is 21, and he's a lovely lad. We are lucky to be parents.

Congratulations!!!
My daughter is 13 months old & her name is Summer...she is definitely the best thing that has ever happened to me & we love her dearly! I am so happy when I look at her & can't wait to get home to see her....my husband is the lucky one cuz he is the stay at home dad & I work. Sometimes he calls me at work & he puts the phone by her so she can hear me...but recently she has started babbling to me on the phone when I talk to her....its so cute! But then I want to leave work right away to go home & be with her!! When I was pregnant with her & we were going for the ultrasound I thought for sure it was a boy cuz he wanted a boy so bad & I wanted a girl so bad...when they told me it was a girl I couldn't believe it!! It was just as exciting as finding out that I was pregnant! I always wanted a little girl so badly!!

I have one on the way in 3 months and I'm SO excited. I know that its going to be a challange, but I know it will be a great blessing. I just wanna hold her in my arms, show her the world, and see those beautiful blue eyes that I know she'll have... She makes me so happy and she's no even born yet! What a little wonder.

I have to say that having my daughter was a great experience she along with her four brothers, who are 17,16,8 and 3, are my pride and joy.
She is now 12 and excels in all she does she loves her sports and is currently English and Welsh champion in her weight group in Judo. She is also a brilliant little athlete and love competing for our local athletics club.
She is a very loving daughter and we enjoy going out on girlie days just me and her.
