My fridge volume is HUGE, I like to see my fridge always full of food so once I think of what to cook, I can find it in the fridge. Right now, I have pretty much little bit of everything... my freezer is half full usually just fishing bait, ice cream, icetube and frozen meat and butter.
How is yours? Full of stuff or always empty?

Usually it's pretty full. But it seems when I look thru it trying to decide what to make I see more of a variety condiments in there than other items.

Hi Mermaidivy, the fridge is too full, it's practically overflowing. It's so hot that we are living off salads and all the stuff needs to go in the fridege. Whenever I go up to the big town to shop I stock up as it is so much cheaper and bulk buy my Greek yogurt. There are bottles of water crammed in everywhere as it has to be cold. It's a total balancing act getting it all in at the moment.

It is always half full like yours. Before, it was to full but right now it is too crisis here and we were just buying things that are very important because if we buy things and store it in the fridge it only consumes more space and more electricity for the fridge.

more stuff will consume more electricity? No.. it's not true... only you turn it down more I guess.

My fridge is always full with food too. I have to stock up all kind of food so that whenever in need, we will just easily get the food of the fridge. My house is near wet market and supermarket, but i still prefer to stock up more food in the fridge. That's just me. Happy mylotting.

Well, whether my fridge is full or half-full or empty depends on both the day of the week and the date of the month. here in India, packaged and frozen food is quite expensive and we are more used to buying fresh, so the freezer is mostly half-empty…it might just have some cleaned and washed fish and a tub of icecream.
The fridge though would have plenty of stuff if it’s the beginning of the month and also the week…as the days roll on, the supplies are used up and if its nearing the end of the month, I don’t have enough money to buy lots of stuff. So I buy just the basics and so the fridge remains half-empty.

Hello Ivy. Nice to see you. Oh yeah , my fridge is always full , not of things to cook , but of breakfast items, snacks, and TV dinner packages. I don't cook. That's one thing I am not good at at all, except to boil water ! Ha ha ! I only boil and microwave a few things for breakfast and late night snacks.

Hi there!
At my own place, my fridge is always empty hehe.. My fridge only has my dogs' foods, a few bars of chocolates and a gallon of mineral water. But before I use to have so many foods but there are only two of us in the house so the foods gets spoiled often times cause we can't eat them all up before their expiration. And now that I live alone, I never stocked food in the fridge.
I only buy amounts of food good for a day or two. I don't cook too much so there's no veggies, meat and fishes in the freezer. There's a store near my place where I buy cooked food already. Occasionally, I do have some tetra packed juices, colas and donuts.
Ciao!

It ebbs and flows. I usually try to stock up on special so if there ar a deals, my fridge tends to fill. Also I only shop once a week, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter so it depends on the day of the week. I do like to keep a stock of food around so that if I am having a bad day or days, then I do not have to force myself out to to go shopping.

I love it when hubby gets paid and we go shopping, we have found a discount grocery store that you have to bag your own groceries --but the food is good and you get a full cart of food for half the price than a regular grocery store around here... the food is really good too. The store is Aldi's and when we go there we spend about 90.00 for a full cart of food and when we get home we fill the fridge and freezer.... it lasts up to almost a week, which isnt bad for a family of 4.
I hate when it starts to get empty because I hate grocery shopping to begin with, and I am not that excited about cooking... but its even worse when you dont have much to choose from!!
Happy mylotting!

We do have a side by side refrigetrator, i must say i like it to be always full. Both the fridge,as well as the freezer section is mostly packed, i like it this way only. So as i needn't think too much before cooking.. Its always full with lots of fruits, veggies, icecreams and sometimes its so full, that i have to adjust the suff to make space, for something new to put..

My fridge is full on Sundays, but by Wednesday its empty or pretty close to empty. I shop now on Wednesday or Thursday to get a few supplies, as fresh fruit and vegetables doesn't stay fresh long.

Hello mermaidivy,
My fridge is always full. I like to stock up food at home so that, if anything happen, we will be safe for at least a month! I go to the wet market every fortnight and I do my grocery shopping once a month. But the weird feeling is that.....sometimes when I want to eat something, I always feel like there is nothing to eat though the house is full of food!

I rarely let my fridge get anywhere near empty. There always seems to be quite a bit of food in mine. That of course does not solve the problem of not being able to find anything to eat that sounds good to me or the kids. Today is one of those days.

i make sure that my fridge is always loaded with yummy stuffs and comfort foods. eating is a great stress buster and i usually run to my fridge everytime i'm stressed-out with my life. i know its a bad habit nevertheless, my fridge is fully loaded all the time.

Depends really, when the fridge is full it is usually because it has lots of left-over food in it, which can be re-heated and eaten later on. I do always like to have lots of fruits around though and sometimes I will keep them in the fridge so they stay fresh for longer.

My fridge is usually always empty. There are 5 people living with me currently and we go through a lot of food. Someone has to go and get more food almost every 3-4 days or else there would be nothing to eat and nothing to cook. We have a large freezer but it really has nothing but icecream and other frozen stuff like that. So my fridge is pretty much always empty and even our pantry is always empty.
