I never had transactions in eBay since I have not yet registered to it. Since we already have a PayPal account, we can use our earnings to buy stuffs on eBay. This idea was opened to my mind, due to one of responses to one of my discussions. Since transferring of money from eBay to our debit or credit card has a charge, and it's not a little charge. I now thinking that instead of widthrawing my money from my bank account linked to PayPal, I would rather use the money to buy stuffs in eBay. What do you think? I don't know much about eBay, is the prices there high? How much percentage higher? Have you already bought something there? Please share your experience. What are your thoughts about eBay?

I don't have a lot of experience with E-Bay, but my friend LOVES it. She's been using that site for years & swears by it. She's never had a bad experience. Hope this helps.

I have stopped selling at Ebay after I have a very bad experience. There were three joybidders who became the winning bidders but in the end turned out to be scammers. They did not pay me.

well, it is possible that you can buy stuff at ebay using paypal as your payment. i used to a seller before at ebay but my account has been deactivated due to some reason. i was trying to reactivate it again cause i am enjoying selling thru online and yes it is true that most of the items in ebay is cheaper., so may save up a lot of money ., but be careful cause there are so many bogus seller nowadays ., you may end up losing your money if you are not wise. one tip i could give you for you to make sure that your buying on a trusted seller ., always look their feedbacks and make sure that he/she is a powerseller., have a nice day ahead!

I have never purchased anything from ebay yet, but I have heard that it is a good site. I don't like the idea of bidding and buying, I would prefer to buy it at the time I want. I might not want it after sometime. There are lots of websites which allows payapl to pay. I have been seraching for those websites and collected a list of those Indian websites.

Well, I'm an eBay buyer and seller. I do have my paypal account linked to my eBay account although I had yet to use it for any transactions up to now. For prices, I will say that it really depends on the seller and also other factors. I will say that you will have to do a comparison of prices selling outside in your country vs buying from eBay. In addition, you will also have to consider the freight charges in the total price before determining if the price is cheap or expensive. There are definitely some items which is cheaper, but you will have to search for these items. However, some items are also 'higher' in eBay too, so it's really up to you to determine if it's a worthwhile purchase. For me, I seldom buy things from eBay, but I'm more of a seller in eBay instead. For me, my previous purchases are considered cheaper than if I am to buy from outside.

Hello my friend, I have been on eBay for years. I also like it very much. I have learnt that when looking for bargains, ebay does not always show you what is available worldwide, even when you set it to do that. You have to search for your keywords at the different eBay sites around the world, and it also helps if you use the local language word during the search. e.g. If I am looking for another nice meteorite specimen, most can be found on eBay USA, but many in say Germany will not appear, I need to search for meteoriten, it is a diferent word, so I go to ebay Germany and open up the language translator. Searching for banknotes to collect is also a great adventure and many wonderful bargains appear off the main site. E.g. a banknote in an ebay store may be $50, and at an auction it may be won for $5, I had this happen yesterday with a nice Sth African 1 pound note. I also made a list of all the ebay sites that I could find on my website, because when I try to find the list of all the sites on ebay itself, I always get lost, and can never find it. eBay international is a sort of sometimes works thing. Which is probably because of the languages we all use. Hope to see you in ebay soon.

I have bought things from Ebay and I have been happy with what I've bought. It is possible to find some good prices, it really depends on how often you check on the items you are interested in. At the end of auctions there is usually a lot of activity. I would suggest watching what you are bidding on at the very end and have a set price that you are willing to pay.

I have had a lot of success with ebay. I've sold some items there, and I've found some really good deals as a buyer also. I have never been charged any fees to pay by Paypal, even when I don't have any money in there and they take it out of my bank account.

I have the highest regard for eBay. They are a genuine and legit site. The trick is to check up on the Sellers points, if the seller has a 99 to 100%, you can be sure the lot which you are buying is genuine and a original product. I have done about 3 to 4 transcations in eBay and all the times, I have received the products correctly and in quick time. So go ahead and start buying from eBay.

I am an avid buyer from ebay. I really love it!! Especially original cds and dvds.. There are quite a lot of sellers in ebay that starts their bids on the entertainment dvd or cs for 1 cent USD!! And then you can just start bidding!! The really cheap part would be when you buy loads of cds and dvds from that specific store, and most of them do combined shipping.. And it's really really cheap!! That's what I do for my earnings online, I get ebay things, because transferring money to the card from paypal has the charge.. just like you say.. That's why I prefer buying things online in ebay especially..

I am quite apprehensive buying from ebay. I am not sure if the item you will buy is exactly what you want since you do not see it personally. I am also quite careful of the charges. I know that items bought on the internet is quite expensive.

I don't know much about ebay too,, but since I haven't got paypal yet, I do search about paypal and I found so many horror stories about seller and buyer in ebay.. I know paypal is a good and can be trusted but with so many horror stories I feel a little bit afraid to use it on ebay.. Try to type 'paypal horror stories' and you will find it. But I know many people has successfully use paypal and ebay. Maybe if you always take care of your account there will be no problem..
