Hello my dear mylotters,
I am sure many of you enjoys cooking food for your family and your friends. Because that shows your love and you cares to them.
When we are little kid, mom already cooks for us, even now, mom still make food for us. So, do you like the food your mom cooks? I love the food that my mom cooks, she is way better than i in cooking. I am working in the other city now, so i can't taste her food that often, i really miss it.
What about you? If you mom a good cook? Do you the food she cooked?

Hi, you are so blessed with a mom that loves you so much that she cooks for you. Yeah, my mom also is a good and creative cook. Even I go to school very early on my college days, she always make sure that I eat breakfast well. So she sacrifice to wake up early and cook for me. Love that in her.

Hello vivianchen,
I like to eat my mother's food she cooked herself. She is not fond of using a recipe book. she would just experiment on the dishes. She is fond of cooking new food. And I am fond of eating them. She don't measure the seasoning and ingredients she put in the food, and she don't want tasting the food while she is cooking. good thing, most of the outcome would be great. yes, some was not so good, but still I will eat it. This is to show the appreciation for my mom's effort.

I am one of those rare people who have a mother that is a HORRIBLE cook. She absolutely hates to cook and it shows. She knows she's a horrible cook and when we're all together we try to make sure that all she does is relax. Otherwise the food's not very good...

Yeah my mom has always cooked really good food and she's taught me a lot about cooking as well. She likes a lot of the stuff that I cook too which is pretty nice. She's always made really good soup and lasagna and basically everything she's every made has always been very delicious.

Hmm, good thing she can't read this.LOL. I gues it depends on the dish. There are dishes that she cooks quite well, like chicken adobo. But there are times that she puts in a lot of salt on the dish that it tastes so salty and well, not really good to it.
But I still love her so much just the same because I know she puts her all in every dish that she cooks. So no matter the taste, I still eat her cooking and I'm just thankful everyday that I have a very loving mom who cooks for me.

hi vivian
to be honest, i do not like my mothers cooking that much only selected dishes .. My mother never had the opportunity to do more than what was given/provided to her so she was not adventures and stuck to the routine receipes
But .. I miss her cooking at times, especially the simple fried noodle, fried rice .. and certain "curry" gravy that no other restaurants can replace ...
cheers

Yes I do, I cannot cook as good as her. I even asked her when did she learn to cook, and she said only after she got marry. During our festive season, my siblings will all demand our own favorite foods, and yet my mom will cook it all. Now I worked in a far place than my mom, I cannot taste her great cooking and I miss it badly.

Yes,I like the food my mother cooked.I think only my mother can make so attractive food for me in this world.she can cook everything, various food for everyday.I have been out of my home many years for studying in different cities, only in the vacation could I taste her food.In other cities,I feel difficult to adapt to the food custom. You know there are rice, cake or noodles in different cities, but I feel those food are not as tasty as my mother cooked.Like you ,I really miss my mother's food.

I love my moms cooking. When she she cooks I love to eat. I love to really eat anything but there are just certain things that my mom can cook better. In fact she is cooking right now as I'm doing this. =) But I especially love the good ole southern food. Pinto beans, biscuits, corn, rice, squash. YUMMY!!!!!! I dont know what I will do when I dont have her cooking for me all the time. =(

Oh, That's so sweet!!! I learned to cook from my mom so of course I'm gonna love her cooking since it's pretty much the same. She taught me how to make biscuits when I was about 11 or 12, so I guess I need to do the same for my daughter. But I think when we grow up with someones cooking it may be really horrible and we just don't know any better because we are used to eating. I have been to peoples house where they said their mom was the best cook, but you couldn't eat it.

Oh I just love my mom's cooking. I have been married for so long now and am a mother myself, but I still love mom's cooking and feel no one cooks better than her. And, the best part is that since we live in the same city, I go over to her place often and insist on my son eating her food. She loves cooking for my son and my son, too, loves her cooking. The best part is that now, my mom cooks all my son's favourite dishes. I've tried cooking like her. Although I'm a reasonably good cook, I feel I still can't match hers. It's probably the love and warmth that she blends liberally in the food she cooks.

Both of my parents worked (yes, my mom was a career woman in the 50's and up) so my grandmother, who I loved so much and lived with us, did most of the cooking. My mom is not a horrible cook but no one says, "Wow, Mom is cooking! I cannot wait!" We usually say, "Can we go out to eat, instead?" LOL
