How long could you be separated before missing each other?

How long are you able to live separately from your spouse or partner (assuming that it's only a temporary separation, not a divorce) before you miss them like crazy? For me, it's only three days. I'm still able to get on with life as usual, but the feeling that she's not around makes me feel part of me is gone. How about you guys?

In my experience, we were able to survive without seeing each other for 4 months. That's very difficult but with constant communication we were able to keep our relationship. Trust should always be there and of course self control.

I dont live with my spouse. I only get to see him on the weekends and that alone is unbearable. WE wish we could see each other each day. THe longest we go is four days.

hey there kevchua!I am currently in a three year relationship with my boyfriend. We've never been apart for long except for the 2weeks he left for Romania. Even then, I called him every single day he was there.I don't know how I'd live without him but eventually we have to be on our own again. Time will tell.

I think i would be alright if my partner went away as i find i can cope the same as usual and that there would be alot less washing for me to do.At this present time i do not think that either one of us would miss the other one at all.I think that if anything than the other person may realise all what that person ment and all the things that the other person is and has done for them.

Well when my husband left I missed him the moment that he left my sight. Maybe it sounds overly dramatic or a bit cheesy but I just love him so much. I love having him around me as he brightens my world. Right now I am missing that and can't wait until he gets back home!

When I had a boyfriend I couldn't handle the time without him. I kept feeling like the world is going day every second that I had to be alone... I even used to text him non-stop during my work (he was outside of the country so I couldn't call him) I felt happy each time he reply and I kept waiting for the moment I will finish my work so I can go ho0mje to my computer and talk to him on ventrilo. unfortunatly we broke up due to me being too clingy XD We're still really good friends though :)

Oops, the question that makes me ashamed to say. I can not be separated too long with my wife. 26 years she has been assisting me. Many activities we do together. After our sons of teenagers, we often go together. So, feel any less if she is not near me. I believe she has the same opinion. I need her and she needs me.
