Hello my fellow mylotters! Well i guess everybody know what the f word means. It's a one magical word. We use it to describe pain, pleasure, hate or love. like for example. He is doing all the "f" work. Or she talks too "f" much. Or even a part of a word -abso "f" lutely or in "f" credible. See what i mean? Almost every sentence we can put it.
With all this many uses of the f word. How often you do you use it? Do you feel offended anymore when someone use the word to describe something? Or when they use the f word to describe or referring to you?

I have a huge problem with not using that word. However around adults I tend to keep back a lot. I use that word like after every five words or so around friends. I think it's a bad habit i adopted but i don't know why I can't stop. I don't like saying that word so often but i guess people would have to deal with it because I really am addicted to it! You have no idea how much i want to write it now. Until I am able to control myself everyone's gonna have to hear it loud and clear

hello, thank you for being true. I'm feeling how much you would like to shout the word. lol! if you really want to break that bad habbit, i would like to suggest that you replace it with more subtle word. Then maybe gradually you won't say it anymore.
But hey, just be true to yourself, okay?! Thank you and happy mylotting!

I say it like once or twice a day brought about by frustrations. I would say "What the F...!" everytime my computer restarts when i am doing something really important. Electricity fluctuates here on a daily basis so i say the F-word on a daily basis too.

The only time I said the F-word was 28 years ago in high school. In our society, the F-word is taboo though many youngster use it as a way to express their anger. I personally do not like to hear the F-word though I will not stop others from saying it, but if the F-word is directed at me, I'm going to be seriously offended. To many, the F-word is so common that almost every verb, adjectives and house precedes with the F-word.
Be careful before you use the F-word. Though you have the right to freedom of speech, the other person has the right not to be offended, too :)

I'm not an English native speaker, but I do swear a lot in my own language. So usually when talking to people from other countries(that already know me), in English, I translate that to the f word or any other curse word that comes in handy. I've got quite a foul mouth, lol.

Hello, im glad you are honest. Me also, i sometimes do have a foul mouth. But when my parents are around i tend to say it softly. Thank you!

Well obviously around my parents and when I'm out with a girl, I can control myself. But if I'm out with a girl and my guy friends also, I'm not going to control myself. After all, it's part of who I am and if I keep pretending that I'm not cursing a lot, then I'm not really me anymore. If a person likes me, they like me for who I am. If not, tough luck.

I don't limit my usage of the word. I don't use it a lot, but when I use it it flys around a lot.

I don't use "bad" words very often. I don't try to avoid them, but I guess it just doesn't come out of my mouth naturally. xD
I like the F-word better than the Sh-word, though. And I'll pretty much only use it if I get really, really upset.

No, I'm not offended by the use of the word as a general description nor if its used as an insult to myself but i would take issue with someone using it to be abusive to say, my mum or someone I thought would be offended. As to how often I use it, it depends on the company I'm in... it's ok to use when I'm muttering to myself or talking with others who are using it (or to yell at an inconsiderate or dangerous driver who can't actually hear me ...)

The F word is becoming very common by the day. I try not to use to use it a lot, but sometimes it just comes out of nowhere. I probably say it four times a day, but I dont use it against a person. Usually its against an object. I use it around friends, not around family. Its not really offensive if you know the person and know their style of talk

hello, what a simple and yet a great response. Yes, i think using the f word against an object is the most relieving but not offensive way of saying the word. And if you use it in a person, i agree that you must be just kidding around. Thank you and happy mylottin!

Well I am from the Philippines. People here rarely use it. But in case one does, I think it is kind of an offensive word. I know that people are used to saying it. Here some people also use words that connote negative things. I believe it is better that we try to avoid things like that.

F word is common. But I hardly use it, especially in front of my kids. At their stage now, they like to mimic what the adults says so I better not to mention this word in front of them.
And I think sometimes I do use it, it happen when I am in texting or MSN, that's all.
Happy mylotting.

I really don't like the f word and I try not to use it. But when I'm extremely angry and forced to talk I'll probably use it since I have less control because of my negative emotions. But I would really like to never have to say it again in my life. I really don't like it when people use the word but I've also gotten a little used to it. But I don't think I've ever had anyone use the word when describing or referring to me. Hope that never is the case.

I do not like the "f" word and I think it is very crude and crass. It denotes lack of breeding and lower consciousness. Just my opinion.

Hello! The 'F' word has become very common everywhere . I generally use it among friends but when it comes to workplace , I try staying away from it . Rather I have to .
But , when I entered the corporate world , I realised it just just another normal word in the dictionary . Lot of my senior colleagues and others use it very often . Still I try to keep away from the word .
And when people I know use it , I'm fine . But when it goes beyond a certain limit , I get completely offended .
I would suggest to stay away from it as it is really not right to use it often .
Happy day people!

I know this is a bad word, so I seldom to use it.
When I am very angry or mad at someone, I might use it.
I try to avoid using it as much as I can.
