to teach you how to think and analyze stuff, and do something worthwhile when you get out of college to make your society a better place for everyone. school and studying is to get you thinking and exploring different methods of doing stuff better to improve situations. that is why u r in school...college is a higher learning institution to teach you to do better stuff to better society u live in. while the morons off the street just work mindless regular jobs to pay their bills, then go home to eat, poop, sleep, and live the cycle again.
and if u really know what u want to do, u go to college to specialize in something, whether doctor, lawyer, finance, etc. or, if u dont want to think to hard, maybe just specialize in a certificate program, instead, rather an advanced degree.

F*****g purpose of study.
we really need a big change in studying. Today the purpose of study is to survive life, to get job, block the thinking of humans. but it is good(not very good) for start i.e. toward invention something new, but required self exploration.

Well the saying goes, practice makes perfect. Although, threre comes a point when studying is pretty pointless. For example right before a test, if you dont know it chances are you aren't going to get it in such a short amount of time. The purpose of studying is repetition, to do something over and over to lock it in your memory. You should study only for a short amount of time, rouhgly an hour or so daily to gain memory lock. Studying longer is a waste of time and less isnt sufficent enough.

The main purpose of studying is to gain knowledge. You should be aware of the various aspects of the world. There are lot of things to study in this world Science,Maths,Language,Social, etc.Everything you study will be useful in your life at least at moment in your life.
When you get to know about things you become wise.Studying the school subjects alone doesn't matter, there are things beyond that.Besides, you got to study to make a good career. You have to study to sustain in your life.

I suppose it's to learn more and become familiar to what you are learning, the more you go into a topic, the more you begin to understand it.

towards studying, i just have a mix feeling. when i am a child, i remember i had to go to school and had lessons everyday, but i was not voluntary.while at others times, i will read my own favoriate books, just to feed the curiosity. when i grow old, i find it is important to gain special knowledge in order to find a good job. but till now i still haven't been paid back and doubt whether there is a definite relationship between studying and good jod. anyway studying do help me a lot in many way, teaching me how to live a healthy life and how to be a man and more important, feeding my curiosity.

first , to make a living. if you are studying in schools, you are preparing for your future work and life. if you have dropped out of school and entered into social work , you are also making a living by learning about the society and the world and accumulating experience. in fact, everyone is studying different things at every moment. why? to live, to live a better life, to live to the fullest.

The purpose of studying is that once you do, you see that there is so much more to life then it meets the eyes; so much to be done, so much to be seeing, so much to make your life better. Who ever takes the time to dedicate for studding (not only one subject, but whatever is good to make you a better person, a better professional, and to open your mind in every possible way) will not regret it.

Learning and retaining iformation for a certain purpose! We should always be learners. I still study although I am way out of school and actualy am a teacher. I still study different things because I want to learn.
