Overrated?

I did like this movie. But people obsessed over it. It is romantic, but it's not like the most romantic movie ever. It was good, but not extraordinary. But every girl seems to consider it one of their favorites. I think it's a good movie but not necessarily as good as the hype. What do you think?

It was NOT overrated!!!It brought out a ton of emotions. One person said that it wasn't that good, made them cry/sob, but yet they took the time & made the effort to buy the DVD. That tells me it was better than they want to admit. Few people buy the DVD of a movie they don't like to watch!!!

I did definitely like it! It just seemed to get sooo much attention after it came out, and there are lots of good movies out there.

Its a good movie yeah, but i wouldn't be like... OMG ITS MY FAV. It made me cry / sob my absolute heart out. It was actually quite depressing. I've got it on DVD, but i've seen alot better. Its a good story like, good plot. Good film? Yeah.

I don't know if it was overrated...but I usually don't like "romance" movies. I usually end up laughing at the stupidity, but I actually really enjoyed The Notebook. I have read the book and watched the movie, and both made me cry my eyes out. The Movie is definitly in my top ten...which mostly consists of horror movies.

I loved this movie.....They were wonderful and the story line was fantasic. They don't make movies this good anymore.
