Has anyone, i'm sure you have, ever been preparing to make dinner, and suddenly had a brainwave about an out of the ordinary meal they would love to make, and then actually make it? i did this not too long ago and the product was, dare i say it, miserable, but in the process, i had a lot of fun being creative with food.

I have to say that I do this quite often. I do get really sick of the same old, same old and need to switch it up often especially with items and combinations I have never done before. I have to admit that though sometimes they are mega hits, there are still many times that my poor children are trying helplessly to choke down some strange thing I made. LOL Usually I eventually spare them and give them something else. But it is so worth it to keep trying because sometimes I get a hit and it does become a house favorite to make.

I probably do this a few times a week haha. Last night I was about to make peanut butter cups with a friend, since we were at the grocery store and we could grab ingredients there, but I decided against it because she is vegan and that means that I would have to spend a lot more money on the ingredients since she refuses to have any milk or egg products... If she would want to pay extra than I would be fine haha, but the milkier stuff tastes better anyway I believe. But anyways, I am usually pretty spontaneous with the food I make, I always am trying to make new food and experiment, making my cookbook bigger is great.
