I think there will be a change in the people's view on religion. There are many types of religion around the world--Hinduism, Taoism, Buddhism, Islam, Confucianism, Christianity, and etc. In fact, the great leaders of today's generation think that religion has something to do with unity and war. I believe that you have seen people debate and criticize each others' religion. Ironically, their goal is to promote world peace.
Aside from our view on religion there is also a continuous change and development in science and technology. Everyday, we discover new inventions like mobile phones, laptops, and all other gadgets/machinery that you can think of. There are also new theories and researches on various topics circulating in the internet. These things and ideas only prove that people are hard to satisfy; we always look for something new and the only thing that we can never change is CHANGE.

Communications and manufacturing technologies have definitely changed the way we live in the 21st century. However, the same cannot be said about the way we think. In some countries (maybe in many), politicians still have the same mentality as that of their fathers decades ago, religious groups still hold on to the same taboo, the poor are still as poor.
What other changes will the 21st century bring besides changes in the communications and manufacturing sectors? Personally, I feel none. It could just get worse - the proof is here. Economic recession. Political instability... and a few others.
Some people don't (or refuse to) change with the times. It is the times that regularly change.

Hi dear,
I am not sure what changes does 21st century will bring.
But i have few things in my mind which is to be changed.
i think that talking about change and that of the mind-set of the people is very easy. that's what most of us do. just sit and and talk. but do any of us try to do anything? most of us are living in such communities where people are educated. That's why its easy for us to discuss such issues. but during such discussions only thoughts are exchanged. Atleast the readers who reads such discussions, may bring a revolution.
And to talk about the changes, first of all, there should be a change in the mind-set and attitudes of everyone.
To bring around such a change in attitude is not a one-man task or a one-day task.
It'll be a long-struggle.
But one man - so determined and confident- is enough to bring around a change.
Firstly, each and every person should think and care for not only himself but also about others. (This does make a lot of difference)(For more proof refer to people psychologies and their behaviors and one would know).
They should be well educated (education does not necessarily mean literacy).. in all aspects (esp intellect).
Bringing about a change in political system is an absolute impossibility. We have been infiltrated with corruption all through the ages and a politician will see to that his pocket is filled, whatever the cost is. I do not say that all are corrupted, but real leaders and good-politicians are never in power to achieve any good. this is what my views, friend!
Have a nice time! Its time for my Kick practice.
