It happens to me a lot. My fingers tend to start writing things even before I thought of them.
I tend to make the same mistakes often. Writing "thing" for "think" is very common with me for example.

Hi,
I am so guilty of this too. Even when I read my response two times before posting, I still see some misplaced letters, mispelled words, even some phrases which I intended to delete - after I have posted... I used to be bothered by it, but I found comfort in the thought that many here commit the same mistake - I'm not alone LOL. I still exert some effort to minimize errors when posting, but somehow I still do it.

I happen to have a spell-checker and if I misspell a word I get a red underline to let me know. However, that spell-checker doesn't work when I type the wrong word I and the spelling is correct. For instance, I did a discussion long time ago about the benefits of eating cherries and asked...."Did you know cherries are good for goat?" Hmmm...I meant gout!

Hi imgrandma12,
Don't worry about that. Most of us (if not all) done it one time or another. Nobody perfect. Simple typing error is acceptable here. But if you made a trying error that twist the meaning of the sentence, you may need mention it by given another response on the same tread.
Happy mylotting and have a nice day.

I have this habit and even though I always try to avoid it but this habit cannot be changed. Some times the words and their meanings change totally and become funny and sometimes utter ridiculous.

You did it right now too. I don't pay much attention to my spelling while I'm writing something like this, like a post, but for school and papers I definitely make sure I do. I try not to mispell things, I try to do my best, I like proper spelling and grammar, but even I myself make mistakes so I try not to be too hard on others, unless they are really bad or the use tons of slang. I really dislike that.

Yes, of course. Nobody's perfect. We sometimes mispell words or sometimes commit grammatical errors. ;)

Hi pal, do not worry , this happens to the most veteran too. What happens actuallty after we have written a response we do not have the patience to read the written part once again. But who cares and that way you post it and later repent that you did a mistake.
No worry.

i do this all the time. because i don't really read over what i write because i write so much half the time. and then sometimes if i read what i write and correct mistakes that can take about 5 minutes out of my every day that i could of done something else more use ful time to me is precious. and i've miss spelled some things i'm not the greatest speller.

This happens to me most of the time, I often misspelt words and by the time I notice it I would already have pressed the OK button and the action cannot be undone. I am trying to minimize this but I cannot totally remove it from my habit.
