Why do you think that are so many discussions with 0 answers?

I am one of them.lol I have a one discussion that is Zero. maybe because the tittle is not catchy or perhaps the content is boring.lol Do you wanna read mine, too? lol I don't mind if i got no replies, what is important for me i enjoy and tried my best. Sometimes i get disappointed and try to figure out what went wrong, why i haven't received any replies from other members.but, i used it as a positive to do better, to make my topic interesting.

Some times people are short of words to respond and some times they don't find the discussion very interesting and some times people are tired of responding to same old discussion put in different forms. Luckily for me I get responses though some times little late.

The reason I think sometimes there are discussions listed here with 0 answers could be that they were posted either by New people and no one ever noticed them, they could be one liners, or subjects no one here is really interested in responding back too, or knows nothing about as well. I know from time to time I go in there to see if there are discussions that I might be able to help get moving as well.

I do that too sometimes and find many queries are easy to answer and heartfelt. Its not right to ignore them.

I Personally Think If A Person Can Relate to A Discussion .. It is as Good As Answering .. If The Thought Of the Thread Starter Is Read By Quite a Few People .. If Some Of those People Can Understand The Discussion And Co relate themselves to such a Situation And Not answering Does Have The Same Effect Of answering .. You Might Not Get Monetary Benefit, But your Message Does Reach A Size able Population On MyLot .. Thank You .. God Bless .

Yeah, i was also surprised to see those many no response discussions. Luckily or due to my helping friends, i dont have any discussion with 0 answers. But whenever my any discussion get less responses then its realy embrassing. I never post useless, boaring discussions. Happy mylotting!

The thing is that the discussions posted today goes to the third or fourth page the very next day itself. People don't find time to go through all the pages. So discussions in the first page alone has a response.

I think I have about 1 no response discussion at the moment and it’ so specific to a certain thing that I believe that many members won’t have the knowledge to respond to it. But there was no harm in putting the discussion out there as you never know whether you will get a useful response until you try. If it remains as always a no response I am not bothered as these things happen I often look through the no response list and see two themes, either the posts are poorly worded that you are unsure of what the discussion is about or that the subject of the discussion is so specific that as in my case many members won’t actually have any knowledge of the subject so can’t respond.

I look around at times to see if someone by chance missed a discussion and didn't comment. I have had discussions that didn't get responses but I just assume no one knows how to reply or no one saw it. I just let it go then.

Hi, I don't know exactly, sometimes I check these discussions and reply to them as if it happens to me I would not like it to have no responses. Some time ago I created a discussion and only got one reply then I noted that someone else had created a discussion on the same subject only a few minutes after me and there were about 10 or more replies. So I am taking it that it also depends on who you are or who your friends are. Something like that as I have seen this happen also in occasions by some other people. I am not saying about discussions that are repeated by different users so often as for that I don't like to reply to same discussion with same answer more than two times.

i think your friends don't have enough respect for you to write and answer your discussions and and yet they want you to write on their disussion

So far I am lucky on that count.

there is a possibility that the discussion has not yet benn discovered by other mylotters that is why it has no responses yet, maybe in a week or months, it will surely have..i twill take time..and for those who used to post discussion, let us be imaginative, a discussion which will caught the interest of our co-mylotters is better than those discussion that relates only to money matters..i mean, discussions which relates to human life or the like would definitely gain responses..hihi

sometimes it is the topic or the timing. when i first started a topic about renewable energy and the environment, nobody answered it. i think it was too serious. but when i started a discussion about food, i got more than 30 responses in 2 days! people just want to answer simple questions that they can relate to. thanks!

It depends upon the type of discusiion that you start. Many people start discussion about regional or local topics which may be of much interest and importance to him. But when it considered universally, it is un-noticed to many across the globe. Hence his discusssions can have literally no response For example, if we start a discussion about Tom Hanks or Arnold, it is well known to all. But if we start a discussion on Rajnikanth or SRK only people in India and its neighbouring countries know about them. That is all the reson behind 0 response to some of the discussions started

i have some discussions with 0 answers. i figured that know one was interested in the discussion so, i just post another different discussion. maybe someday someone will response or maybe not if not that is okay.

Because of copycats I think.
