I predict a Lance Win

Ok, I am going to go out on a limb here and say that Lance makes sure Contadors lead is safe and then Lets it rip on the final climb of todays penultimate stage. He wants to win on this climb, and he needs to prove that he still has it, so I say he goes for it. What do you think?

Ok, so I was wrong, but he did put in a good ride. I'll stick to the idea that if there hadn't been anyone up the road he would have kicked a little harder, but that is only to make me feel better. I think he proved that he can still ride with the big boys, maybe if he can have an injury free season next year he can pull down some of these wins. Or it could just be that he will be out there on a wheelchair with all the bikes.

Well I got to this discussion a bit late. I didn't think Lance was going to make a run at winning this stage. I thought that he did well to hang in there all tour long and actually stand on the podium. Big question is will he ride again next year. From what I saw of him this year I almost wondered if he had another win in him.

He has a new team (RadioShack) and I think he will ride although there have been wispers of him in the team car. On the other hand, to come off of injury to get a podium in the TDF, you know he is pretty fit, so I would bet he rides again.

I think Contadors victory is for sure. He is a great man. But I wont say that Lance Armstrong can't make it second - but I sure hope that the Schleck-brothers make it second and third. It's not because I don't like Lance, I just think he lost some of his greatness by going in the tour again. Before this I saw his as invinceble. I don't see him like that anymore. I like the Schleck brothers for their unity. When one of them win - he says he would have been just as happy if his brother had won. And when Fränk for example win - Andy is even more happy than he use to. It is going to be a very exiting ending :D

Yes, A Contador win is more likely. But Lance in his own words has some "Unfinished Business" on this climb and I wouldn't put it past him to have this climb be a pesonal goal. Besides being old and of the bike for a while the other thing he has working against him this tour is that the team is not 100% dedicated to his sucess. On the contrart a portion of Lances riding goes towords Contadors sucess, and it is pretty apparent that they are no longer going with a two leader theory and that Lance is working for Contador. So I guess this prediction is as much a wish as a prediction, but if the team will let him do it, I think he will try it.
