Are this money enaught for you and your family to live decent?
Here medium salary is 600 dollars, how much money got somebody who earn a medium salary in your country? To make difference, say to us how much cost let s say a chicken in your country, and we will know what living level is in your country.

government says 265 pesos a day is the minimum wage pay for a family man. but i know it is not enough to have a decent living. yes it will be able to feed - but with big family of 3 or 4 children, it will not suffice. i cant say with regards to dollars. but i guess you can tell me if 600 is sufficient. how much do you spend for food, for tuition of children, for electricity and other utilities.

The average salary is about USD600~USD800 in my country. However, the salary mean nothing, you need to compare with the goods and living fee then you can find the different. Some country like UK sure earn more than other because the currency is high but the living fee is higher than other country too

If my salary is that big it is enough and too much to my family. $1 here in the Philippines is P48 you can live a comfortable life in that salary. The cost of living here is much cheaper than to live in any country. That's why many foreigners what to retire here because their money is much bigger here. If only I can earn that salary here in the Philippines the salary of an minimum earner is not enough to support a family it is only for single. It is my dream to work abroad so I can help my family and to save up to buy a car or a big house.

I always had this idea that the standard of living in my country is very high. I have used to work in neighbouring countries, and with the amount of salary earn, I can do much better. I used to earn in the range of 2000, and I spend 4.50 for a cup of starbucks coffee. However, when I return to my own country, I am earning 3000 but I have to spend a minimum of 9.00 for a cup of starbucks coffee. The difference of the salary earned is not much, however the pricing is definitely double. Even the shower gel that I used to buy, the price is also double! Happy MyLotting :)

I bring home about 300 to 320 per week. Is that enough to live on here? Well barely but we get buy. The rents are high and even subsidized rent is pretty high. 4 years ago, I had 3 children at home on this same pay and now I only have one still at home. Times should be golden ...right? Well, everything has gone up but the pay so it really isn't. Same ole struggle. still have internet, a roof over my head...how much can I really rightfully gripe?

That's why many are spending their vacation here in our beautiful beach resort. here a kilo of chicken cost P160.00

Hello icesmile this is checkmail and when have a job have salary less than 1000 dollars.Actually I am not getting an proffesional or a fixed job so te salary remains low, as well as private sector isn't much developed.Currently my country is a developing economy so there is slack in the jobs as well as salaries.Even the population contributes to it, the more workers availabel the less will be the salary alloted. In my country the living level is medium in standard.

Well, for us that is good enough already. It would be a decent living for us if our salary is that high. However, it varies from which part of the country you are. If you live within Metro Manila like Makati. I think it's just enough but if you live in a middle or lower class city, it would be big enough for you. You have big extra money in your pocket.
I'm living in the 3rd most progressive city here. I can consider it enough. The whole chicken here would cost $3.

My salary is less than 1000 dollars. If I could convert my currency into dollars it`ll come around 500 to 600 dollars only. But this itself sufficient for a bachelor in my country. One kg of chicken is less than 2 dollars here. The cost of living matters only about 200 to 250 dollars is necessary to fulfil my basic needs which includes food, clothing, house rent, vehicle fuel etc. Which means I can save more than half of my income. Sounds impressive na..??

I make an average of 350-450 every two weeks, depending on my hours. That doesn't even include my tips. I might make anywhere between 1500-1700 a month. I wish we were making more. Fortunately, my husband is still getting his unemployment. I definitely can't wait until he gets back to work. Not only will it get him out from under my feet at times, but it'll be brining in more money, and eventually health insurance after a time.
