How many pictures do you take?

When you go on vacation, how many pictures do you take? I tend to take a lot. Last week I took almost 500 pictures. Over 100 of them were from one day alone - our family reunion. My family always jokes that they don't need to take a camera if I'll be there because I take tons of pictures!

My theory with digital is take as many as the battery will allow! On other words take all you think might be good but I do not take time to delete the bad ones until I am home and have more time. More is always good and you just never know what might be in a shot that originally you do not see.

YUP! I do the exact same thing. Just shoot shoot shoot!!! I do look at them while I'm away, but I don't really go through them until I'm home. That's always fun too!

If it's on vacation or if I'm just at home, either way I always find it fun to toy around with my dad's digital camera and take a bunch of pictures. Usually, I take more pictures of my dog and cat at home rather than a lot of pictures during vacation. Normally, I would probably take more at vacation, but if I get the camera out, I'm bound to get asked to have a photo with family and friends. I'd rather stay behind the camera than in front of it. Still, when the camera is in my hands, I have a tendency to take a lot of pictures.

I would like more pictures of me, and sometimes my husband will take the camera for a while. I just love to look at them later.

Yeah, it's nice to take a bunch of pictures and then look at them later. Weeks, months, years. It's nice to look at pictures and look back at the past, remember the good times.

the last time we travelled for 3 days, on the first 3 hours of our ride alone, there already have been 300 pictures! i love to take pictures, shots of the destinations, the tour instructions, etc.. and that means i would be expecting to have like a thousand and more for a day's non stop capturing of moments and memories.

I'm the same way. I walk around with camera in hand or hanging around my neck for quick and easy get to and I snap tons of pictures. I will easily do 200 -300 in an hours time or less. Sometimes I don't get to because my husband always and ever the helpful mate carries my stuff and sometimes I will forget for a short time. While sparks, her hubby, me and mine were in Edmonton in an hour or so I snapped over 200 pics. I love it. I am certainly a shutter bug.

Your pictures are probably much like mine - without me in them! That's the only bad part is that I don't get many shots of me. My husband does pick the camera up sometimes and gets some other shots. It's always a nice surprise to see those!

That is the way it is most of the time but if my hubby is home he will snap shots with me and others together.

i think the digital camera gives us the more chance to take pictures. I alwasy take my camera with me when i'm out or on trip. i also take a lot of pictures. my problem is i have taken too many, so i even have no time to have a look when i come back home. it's a little shame. also download and manage these pictures take a lot ot time to do. i think i need to learn how to manage my pictures efficiently. i wish someday i have time then i can manage all my pictures in one blog. so my family , my friends and i can easily to catch them.

Yes, managing them is a bit of a chore. But I will put my photo disk into my photo frame and I can watch them all the time.

I usually use my digital camera and do not count how many pictures do I take :) I think it does not matter how many as if I like the place I take a picture of anything I like there, who knows I might not be able to go there again and why not have others enjoy and see what I've seen :D I like to show my pictures to my family and friends as it is nice that they see new things. Thanks and Happy MyLotting

I love sharing my pictures too! If I could afford it I'd have about 5 or 6 digital photo frames for my pictures.

I have a digital camera and it lets me delete any photos that I don't like. Then I can only print the photos that I have selected. When I come home from a trip out of about 500 photos I only have developed about 100 of them. When I traveled around the world I used a film camera. It was challenging to photo wildlife especially animals that live in the sea. I used to go shopping in Singapore and purchase 12 films at a time with a discount. On the top shelf of my book case I have my travel photo albums of all my trips that I have done overseas. They mean a lot to me and looking at the photos brings back many happy memories. I am very keen on travel photography.

I always take my battery charger with me. I shoot pictures all day long - as long as the battery stays active. Then I plug it into the charger at night and start all over in the morning. On a cruise once I forgot the charger but I was able to use a friends. That was very helpful!

I often take many pictures when I go on vacation. I have just returned from a trip to Lithuania and Latvia, and I took a lot of pictures there. In Lithuania we visited Vilnius and Kaunas, and Vilnius is a great place to place pictures. There are lots of interesting and beautiful buildings. In Latvia we visited Riga and Sigulda and I also took lots of pictures there especially in Riga. One day we went sailing on the Daugava river, and I took many pictures from the boat. I love taking pictures, but my husband tends to take even more pictures than I do. I get a litte impatient sometimes because he likes to take many pictures of the same thing

Do you each have your own cameras? We only have one so we have to share. I'm thinking of getting a second (smaller) camera for some trips.

I'm like you! I love taking pictures. The last time I took a vacation (went to Canada) I took around 350. They were mostly scenic ones, ones in the car, and ones of me and my friend in front of landmarks and pretty scenes and whatnot. I love taking sooo many pictures! That way, you know that at least a couple of them turn out..And it's great for scrapbooking or collecting photos or whatever you want to do with them!

I put them in my photo frame and watch them all the time. It's so cool to just see them when you're at home. I also like to share them with my friends and family!

I have a large family, five dogs and many friends and I love to take pictures. I take around 75-100 pictures a day. Someone whether it be a family member, friend, nature, or our pets is always doing something cute, goofy, or precious. I love to take pictures, it is my most favorite hobby next to scrapbooking!!

I used to take a lot of pics before digital days too. It wasn't uncommon for me to go through 6 or 7 rolls of film during a trip. I'd label the rolls as I finished them up so they'd stay in order when they were developed. Then I'd put them in a album so I could review the whole trip. I forgot to take them with me this time though - we like to look at old reunions!
