Can You Lose Weight Just Taking a Diet Supplement?

I try to keep my weight to a healthy position. However, I occasionally gain more than I am comfortable with. I tried getting it under control by just taking a diet supplement (without exercising), but had no success. There are a few supplements on the commerical market that make the claim that all you have to do is to swallow their magic pill, and you will suddenly be slim and beautiful. "Clinically tested" is their claim. Have you ever lost weight without exercising and just taking a diet supplement?

I havent. I am always looking for that magic pill. I have hoodia right now, so far it doesnt seem to be effective. I will continue to look for the magic solution, So far it eludes me. I just wish their was an easy way to weight loss. There just doesnt seem to be one. iw ill keep looking and let you know what i find.

If you visit my profile their is a link to my website. I do have weight loss supplements on that site. The key to weight loss is eating a balanced, healthy diet and exercising does help too. Supplements help allocate the calories you take in and also help suppress your appetite. But if you intake more calories than what you burn it is very hard to lose weight.

i put on weight around my waist, i hate it. this happens only if i dont have any physical activities, and if m eating cheese and fried items. so for my body, physical exercise is more important, if i just control some junk food, i will be fit.

Hi, Thank you for your response. I too gain weight around my middle giving me what the weight loss industry calls an "apple" shape, the most unhealthy and dangerous shape to have. I can only loss weight if I exercise with maybe the help of a supplement.

Hello Agelgirl16 this is checkmail and hardly do believe that we can loose our weight simply by taking some diet suppliments.Its all the commercials that says, take our diet supplement and loose you r xx weight in weeks.But according to me the weight gained in our body is mainly due to fats, and it must be burned in order to reduced our weight.So i prefer to do exercises in order to reduced weight wtuhout reducing my diet.

Hi checkmail, Thank you for your response, I really appreciate your time. I agree,that we have to exercise to burn off the fat. I am trying to incorporate at least 30 minutes of jazzercising each day to revup my metabolism to burn the fat.

One of the most important way to lose weight is you self discipline in eating and exercise... Food suplement is just a little help but can be of great help if u combine it with self determination, motivation heallthy diet, and exercise.

I had try to keep fit by take a diet supplement,but it is only lost 1 KG. I am strong recommend do soport to keep fit..It is the most health way to lose weight.

that is all crap. you are not going to drop the pounds unless you eat right and work out. you don't have to work out every single day, but you do need to work out. if you stop eating after say 6pm, and make sure you drink plently of water during the day you will see a difference. i would not recommend taking those so called magic pills

No matter what their "clinical tests" show (test results can be manipulated ya know) if you want to loose weight and remain healthy there's one rule you must follow. Burn more calories than you eat! And make sure those calories come from healthy food. Sorry if that sounds terse. That's just the way I talk and I'm not trying to put anybody (except the diet pill companies who play on people's weaknesses) down.

Hi, Angelgirl16. There are two improtant ways to lose weight, you need perseverance to do it. First, to do more exercise, but you will say i do not like exercise, yes, everybody do like to do exercise, if the doing exercise is not good for our health. i think you just need to walking, jumping, and jogging every morning or night. But please do not always sit or lie on bed. Second, to control your appetite, not go on a diet. You can take three meals a day and the food should be light diet. Do not eat what you want in any other time. you also can eat fruit instead of dinner. If you can do this to the end, you will be successful. i do not suggest to eat lose weight products, i think it is not good for our healt. Hope you can lose your weight.

I am currently interested in taking dietary fiber supplements which helps me better in my intestinal dropping problems and loosing weight as well. not as sophisticated as those in the ones being aired in the commercial but it has worked on me..slowly.

during this summer holiday, i keep thinking how i can lose some weight. i want to be beautiful,slim and healthy. i dont want to be laughed at by others. but i cannot control myself. when i see the food, i cannot control and always eat too much. i know to lose weight needs self-restraint but its easy to say, hard to succed,right ?

My daughter Rhonda is a little bit over weight and she tried some diet pill's and say's they wont work unless if you watch what you eat and you excercise. She finally did lose over 50 pound's but she had to do lot's of walking and watching what she was eating.

I am six feet tall... Yet my weight is around 90 Kgs...I am a Little obese... I read that dieting just Controls adding up of weight.... too loose weight it os mandatory to work out... that would burn the extra fat stored under skin...Fat accumulates in certain parts like your thighs,upper nack below lower jaw,bottom of your hands,abdomen,.....it is necessary to work out accordingly
