Brett Farve joining the Vikings

I am very curious if I am the only Vikings fan that is not impressed with Brett Farve joining the Vikings. I really feel that spending the millions that he will want is a waste of money for a player that will not last out the year, when the Vikings have already committed to Jackson, and if this is no longer the case, they should trade Jackson and find another more reliable and sturdy QB. That and the poor leadership of Childress, and his ability to not be able to take a team with major talent anywhere, i feel is irresponsible bargaining and wasteful money that could be used for other avenues and talent that is needed else where. i am really looking forward to hear from others on this subject.

Brett Favre is a talented guy, but he;s becoming a HUGE problem to the NFL. I mean, this is a soap opera. I respect the man, but he needs to call it quits!

Signing Brett Favre was probably a move to boost ticket sales. They know he is close to retirement but his presence with be a draw as people will want to go to the games just to see him play.
