I love fruits and I love natural juices. Sometimes I am amazed at some of the things people use to make natural juice. Tomato juice for example. I really still cant see myself having that. I'll eat the fruit thank you. I really prefer some fruits as they are or just in salads. My brother started talking about making pumpkin juice. We ridiculed him but he made it anyway. Now whenever there is excess pumpkin in the house and he takes too long to use it up we get at him. Pumpkin juice my brother's way is yummy. When its frozen its almost like ice cream. Hmmmmmm... yum. I also enjoy mango juice, cherry juice, guava juice but it has to be smooth, cucumber, june plum, sorrel. I kinda like tamarind juice. Two juices my family enjoys but I dont are soursop juice, carrot juice. I doubt anyone but my mom likes beet juice. but the colour is very nice. I heard that guinep juice is also very good. We have a huge tree here in the yard so we might try it. Natural juices are a treat to healthy living. Which juices have you made yourself and enjoy having? Well even if you've never made it you can share it

I love making natural juices. The anticipation of having something frothing and yummy can be almost to much to bear at times. Especially in the summer when anything seems possible. There's something very sensual about having the juice dribble down your chin whilst you desperately try to wipe it without stopping supping. Mmmmmmm. Yummy natural juices. Heavenly. I love it even more if I can share it with a friend. Seeing someone close their lips around something that I have made for them really is a transport of delight. Gosh, I might go and make some right now. Lovely discussion. Thank you.

I do make some juices fresh at home, like orange juice, mango, Chiku shake, lemon juice, watermelon juice and some more too , but i always wanted to make fresh carrot juice too, which till now i haven't , as i even do not like the ready made carrot juice , the ones in tetra packs..... As all i do buy them, the sugar free ones, and enjoy without much trouble..

I pretty much enjoy all fruit juices, especially the sweet exotic fruit juices. As for me, I prefer V8 juice to tomato juice although I do drink regular tomato juice when V8 is not available. I have to say that I don't particularly like the sour juices such as sauerkraut juice though, I definitely prefer the sweeter juices or V8. I was given a juicer a few years ago so I have made quite a few juices myself. I make juice especially when I see the fruit/vegetables are getting a bit older and want to get rid of them...I know then that they will not go to waste as we drink more juices than we eat fruit/vegetables. Apart from making some of the old stand bys such as apple and orange juice I also make exotic fruit juices such as mango and pineapple and also vegetable juices as well, such as carrot, beet and cabbage juice, (not my favorite either, although I do like cabbage as a cooked vegetable)!!

Ok... cabbage juic... another new idea to absorb. I think I'll give it a pass. I dont really like cabbage any way. I eat it mainly because its vegetable. Great juices and it is good that you do not allow the fruits do not go to waste. Thanks for sharing

I love making fresh juice on my own too. The easiest way to make fresh juice is by squeezing the fresh orange. Orange juice is my kids favorite! Other than that, I try made some other juice before, includes, star fruit juice, apple mix carrot juice and carrot mix orange juice.

I don't much care for sweet juices, but I do like tomato juice! If I get enough tomatoes from the garden, that's one thing I make from them. I like carrot juice, too, but I don't like it mixed with anything else and it's hard to find without that. Grape juice is my favorite sweet juice. Other than that, I don't care for them.

Hi Peavey. I guess the best way to have the juices you like the way you like it, is to be a do-it-yourselfer. Its good to stay away from things which are too sweet. Grapes are my favourite fruits but they are not a common local crop and cost a bit since they are imported. I just eat them (yum yum) when I buy them. Thanks for sharing

I really like fresh squeezed oragne juice. It is so good and it is hard to beat as far as juice goes. I like just about all juice whether it is fresh squeezed or just something you buy at the store. It is hared to dislike any fresh juice. It is so good for you also although it is sometimes loaded with sugar. You have to watch the sugar content of a lot of juices.

Thats true. The sugar content can be a backlash to the benefits of fruit juices. That is why many person enjoy preparing their own so that they can sweeten to their liking. I love orange juice as well and just enjoy the fruit itself. Thanks for sharing

I love all kinds of fresh fruit juices! My favorites are watermelon, cantalope, orange, pink grapefruit and mango. I have to mix apple with the carrot or it is too thick and bland for me. I have never tried cucumber juice, that sounds yummy. Lots of time I will have a glass of ice water and add slices of cucumber and lime to it. I haven't had soursap but don't think that I would like it, I had soursap ice cream in Belize and just couldn't get it down. I have never heard of guinep? Does it have another name?

Hi playapal . Guineps are some small green fruits which bear in bunches much like grapes. Here I have pasted three links through which you can learn a bit more. One shows a couple of tourist enjoying the fruit. Guineps can be so ddictive that you end up eating so much more than you intended to. www.youtube.com/watch?v=GA7db-HoGuk www.madbull4.net/weblog/archives/000175.html mobaydp.blogspot.com/.../guinepshow-do-i-love-theeif-only-i.html Thanks for sharing

I love fruit juices. They are really yummy plus they boost the immune system because they are an excellent source of Vitamin C. Well, in our house, our favorite is pineapple juice. All of my household members love it and they ask me to make one often. Another favorite is mango juice. It became a favorite because we have lots of mangoes here. Every time my grandma bring us mangoes, we make mango juice. It's very sweet and really yummy, Perfect for merienda and even after lunch meal. My favorite is carrot juice. It's not just yummy, it's nutritious too. I love carrot and I only not make it as a juice but cake as well. We also tried cucumber juice, guyabano juice, melon juice and etc. We love juices and it made me and my family so healthy.

Fruits are certainly delicious and nutritious. The only way I find I can drink a bit of carrot juice is if it is mixed with lime juice instead of milk. I have not had carrot cake for along time now. Shoulsmaybe bother my sister to make one . Thanks for sharing Fiona

i make mixed fruit juices and lemon juice. i prefer to have mixed fruit juice becoz it gives you more relief and the taste of a wide range of fruits. natural juices makes us healthy unlike the artificial coloured juices, full of chemicals. So go ahead and make some juices....

My favourite is carrot juice, expecially the one made from organic carrots. Sometime I would add apple juice for a bit sharp taste. If we get an pineapple from supermarket, we will cut out the core and squeeze the juice from it. The most interesting one I had is cactus juice. We bought some cactus fruit from local shop only to find out impossible to eat them because of their tiny seeds. We decided to turn them into juice. Although we didn't get much out of them at the end, that bright fresh red juice was very sweet to taste!

Cacatus juice.... Now thats a first for me. I have never heard of that before. For some reason there are certain foods which tend to upset me (makes me feel sick) when I smell them. That as been the case since childhood. Carrot juice is one of them. Cheese, cows milk, sausage.... I can never figure it out. Well thats one new juice I have learnt of. Thanks for sharing
