Sunday, Hubby, me and a couple of friends went down to the Hudson to hang out by the water. We ended up visiting the marina and looking at some boats. I seen some really beautiful boats and I swear, if I ever win the lottery, I am buying one! We had a really good time just watching the boats go by and relaxing and it did me a world of good. My new goal though now is a boat lol. I know I probably will never be able to afford one, but one can dream, right? LOL One boat in peticular we saw, we all fell in love with. It was absolutely gorgeous and very well equipped, from what we could see. We snapped some pictures of it, which one I will post here. I love the water, I always have and when my family and me used to go on ferry rides when I was a kid, I was in heaven! Do you like boats? Would you like to own one?

I love boats. My hubs and I are going to build ourselves a flat backed cedar canoe we can put a small trolling motor on for fishing. Well he'll fish and I'll just laze around and soak up the peace and quiet. He seldom catches anything, so he won't bother me getting fish into the boat and all. LOL But the only boat I REALLY want to own right now is my ex's yacht. It's worth $80,000.00 and I want to have it so I can sell it and get the damn child support he owes me for the last 20 years!

Building a boat is quite a project. As long as you don't build it in the basement like the guy on the tv show NCIS lol. Before you sell the yacht, come cruising down the Hudson first and take me for a spin on it LOL.

Told the hubs about not building it in the basement or garage and he's all "But the weather will ruin it........" LOL Like, it's SUPPOSED to get wet! "Oh, right", he says..... MEN! LOL And if I ever get my hands on the ex's boat, you can be sure I'll be taking it on a trip or two before I sell it, so clean out the Hudson and I'll meet you at Peir Six!

Having a boat is really great. Beautiful scenery, blue water and a wonderful family party. It couldn't be better. But my city is too drought, the river are with little water in it, a boat means nothing to me. I wish you win the lottery and realize your dream. God bless you :)

yes, until my dad passed away, hubby and the girls and i had been using his canoe which made for a peaceful ride on the water, but my mom sold it in the spring to make some money. my grandfather was a sailor for england during world war one and made several boat models, one which i still have. i love the shore line, water and boats, i think i inherited it!

Hi riptide, that's really a splendid ship. Actually I don't live nearby the sea, so I don't really want a boat, but I live on the boarder between China and DPRK, so I like a auto boat, sometimes we will have the chance to get on a auto boat in the river between China and DPRK, that's fantastic! I never thought to buy one, when I want to have a ride, I will go to the river, pay the owner, and have a ride! To be honest, I never had a chance to get on a real ship. That'll be great I guess. I hope one day you could afford one. Good luck!

I wish there were more places around here where I could take a little boat trip. I'm such a water rat, I would live on a boat if I could lol.

Wow, that's great to hear. I would also like to own a boat someday since hubby and my father likes fishing. And this would be a great way to bond them together, fishing. I have seen beautiful boats in Goa. I also am in favor of buying one someday. But for now, first things first, buy a house and lot and then complete a family and a lot more to accomplish before buying our own boat.
