Do You Like To Put Fruit On Your Pancakes?

The other day I made some pancakes and I had a banana on the table and thought to myself, "Hmmmm, I wonder how banana would taste with my pancakes". So, I pealed the banana and sliced it on top of my pancakes and poured syrup on top. Oh, it was so delicious. I have never tried pancakes with fruit before and I am certain that I will be trying different fruit on my pancakes now that I know how good it can taste. Do you like to put fruit or any other type of topping on your pancakes?

Hi singlemommy, all the members of my family like pancake, me too. I sometimes prepare pancakes for breakfast or evening tea. We like pancakes with banana as topping. It's really delicious. Banana is the popular local fruit in my place. It's a delicious and nutritious fruit. It's not only cheap in price and is available in the market all the year round. Besides using it when preparing pancake we use it to bake cake, and many other yummy desserts Happy posting

Hi singlemomy, banana is always the best delicious fruit for me. If time is really running short I just prepare some plain pancakes. When I could get the yummy smell I then take out the pancakes and place them on a plate. If we have bananas aside, peel it and cut the whole banana into two halves. Then place the cut bananas in between two pancakes and cut them to become banana pancake sandwiches. It’s really delicious Thanks for the best response and have a nice day!

I don't like fruit on my pancakes. I really enjoy pure Maple Syrup, not the stuff like Aunt Jemimma or that Mrs. Butterworth's stuff. I like the real stuff. Oh, and lots of butter!!!! I'm going to ask my wife to make me some pancakes in the morning for breakfast!

I remember going to International House of Pancakes one time and my son got some pancakes with bananas on them. He enjoyed them but I think I wouldn't like them that way. I know sometimes the kids like blueberry pancakes with the blueberries already mixed into the pancakes. Personally though I don't think I like fruit on pancakes. I prefer to eat pancakes plain and simple, just the butter and the syrup, like Mrs. Butterworths. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

I would like to put fruit on my pancakes because this is something I have never done and the fruit I would put on top of my pancakes would be strawberries.

I love pancakes sometimes when i eat them i will either put blueberries or strawberries on them. but what i like best on pancakes is syrup and peanutbutter. i usually do not put the peanutbutter on the pancakes just put a scoop on my plate and then scoop some peanutbutter up with my fork then stab the fork in the pancake and eat it. it is very yummy.

Not really. I either put butter, cottage cheese, syrup, or some kind of jam or jelly. Fruits are much better baked into the pancakes, not on top. That's my opinion anyway.

I eat fruits on their own. I also eat cakes on their own. I never like fruits on cakes, buns etc. However, I take fruit cakes. What an irony.

I like to eat pancakes with strawberries and cooked apples. I also like to put apricot syrup or jam on them instead of regular syrup. Blueberries are another fruit that taste pretty good on pancakes, in my opinion.

Whenever I like eating pancakes I just usually put maple syrup and peanut butter. But if there is an available blueberry syrup (made from blueberry) I will put some. Sometimes, I put also strawberries. Happy MyLotting!

I usually eat fruit and food seperately, and it makes me feel good, but sometimes I would put some fruit jam on the pancakes, and that make sense to me too.

Not only have I put fruit on my pancakes, but it is also a healthy alternative to the aforementioned syrup. I am a diabetic and syrup is ridiculously high in carbohydrates and sugar, so I prefer to use berries. I have used banana too and they are fantastic. The great thing about fruit is that depending on which fruit you use, you can completely change the flavor of the meal. Though it will always be breakfast, it can be tropical with pineapple, mango, or melon, southern with blackberries or peaches, or New England with blueberries, cranberries, or raspberries. My favorite is strawberries though. They are the perfect compliment to rich and buttery pancakes. You should try it.

first I am not a big pancake fan; The reason being when I was a teenager that was all my dad wanted for breakfast and I had to cook them every morning for breakfast. I like eggs too and bacon but he mostly wanted pancakes. He did often put fruit on his pancakes along with syrup and or sour cream or sometimes sweet cream. I did not like fruit on my pancakes then or now. My mom said she thought it was odd how I hated anything on my pancakes except real butter. If she put syrup or honey or jam on my pancakes I would not eat them. All I like on my pancakes even today at age 60 is just plain old real butter. Nothing else. I just don't like them any other way. When I do eat them which is very rarely.

I don't eat pancakes at home. I do put raisins in my oatmeal though. Those are good.

since pancakes is a fairly cheaper meal, i make my family eat them every couple of weeks and since my hubby doesnt like syrup that much, we have been putting fruit on them for almost ever! we use canned or fresh, whatever we happen to have handy. of course lately, we have a lot of fresh fruit out, so last time it was raspberries.

I prefer to put the fruit directly in the batter, or order them that way if I'm in a restuarant, I feel it tastes better. As for topping, I usually like maple syrup or whipped cream.
