front load and top load washing machines

what is the difference between a front load and a top load washing machine? which is better to use.

we always use a front load washing machines at home,it is very good and wash very clearly. sometimes, on summer, as the clothers are not more, so we would like to wash it by hands. as the washing machines always spend more water and more electric while we used it.good luck and have a nice day.

I have the front load washing machine at home. I like it more than the top load washing machine. I think it can wash the clothes cleaner and I have heard that it won't damage the clothes so much. I love China

I think to load washing machine is better than front load washing machine. The top load is very easy and convenient to use. That is the reason I prefer top load washing machine.
