A question to test your morals

Okay so I have a question and I want an honest, true, opinion on what you think about it. If you had a job, where you'd make more money dressing provocatively (short skirt, tight shirt, belly top, whatnot) would you? You know guys are looking at you and are paying you more cause they can see more skin. Would you??
Personally, Im young, I have the body, and the clothes I would wear I have worn before out. If it made me THAT much more money (considering Im a student and need money) I would do it.
If wearing shorts and a tight shirt made me an extra $50-$100 Bucks, I would do it.
Now what about you? Its not like you dont respect yourself, but your also showing more skin, what would you do?

Pass it up. I think this just promotes using women and dehumanizes a woman. I believe this is part of the reason why many women are not taken serious in the business world and even at home. A woman's body is made beautiful but it is always a struggle to be valued for our minds and our inner souls. As for the money, that will come soon enough when you complete your college education and it would be nice to have a work record established in your field of study before you graduate.

I WAS. Im 19, Ive been paying everything myself since I was 15. I went to college for a semester and got pneumonia and was in and out of the hospital for almost two months where I didnt work. Plus a car, and phone bill later, I literally cant afford to go to school. Sure if someone paid my tuition, then thatd be a different story, but frankly, Im pretyy much on my own and have osap to pay, phone bill, insurance, gas, and other expenses, at the moment school isnt an option. So its deffinately easier said then done.

By your post you said you were in school (so I assumed college). My mistake.

When it comes to showing more skin, I would say people would pay me for not showing any skin. Just joking! I am a male and what you are saying is very true that guys like to look at girls who dress scantily and are ready to even pay them for such things. I personally feel that what you wear must be in accordance with your self-respect. Guys like seeing girls in scanty clothing but it is unlikely that you will see a guy in a longtime relationship with the girl whom he pays to show her skin. You know, earning true respect is much difficult than earning money. Although you might be in need of money at this juncture of life, it is wise enough to stick to your values and not cross limits. It is in student life that people's self-respect is forming. If at this time you assort to such things you will only fall in your own eyes. I know that there are cultural differences between you and me and maybe what I am stating is utter nonsense to you, it is my view after all. And moreover there are so many other ways to earn cash with the help of internet. Mylot's one, although not the major one.

What you are saying is absolutely true. But there is an occasion for everything. I am a sportsman and we see girls wearing shorts and T-shirts. Sometimes even skirts. It is nothing new there in the sports arena. It is the dress code and so there is no harm to adhere to it. But say, girls go down the road with the same shorts and T-shirts....it would look awkward and draw undue attention. Now again I am saying that there are cultural differences with yours' and my views about this issue, I would emphasize the point that there is a proper time for everything and nothing should be incongruous. Imagine going to a halloween party with your wedding dress! I do know a few things about western culture and so thought of giving this example. No offense there.

It really depends, right now I am not that comfortable with myself to wear revealing clothing...but if I had the body I might as long as it's not like a strip club or something like that...if it was at a bar and i was a bartender it's a possibility. It all depends...like you, I'm young but it really all depends on the atmosphere of the place.

I don't think I'd be happy about it if I am being honest. I know that money is really important and we all need it to get by, but I would rather get paid for my intellect than to get paid for a large number of men to perve all over me. I just wouldn't feel very proud of myself.

Yah but wer in a recession. Unless your working your butt off 24/7 a day, starting your own business or whatnot, moneys not just going to come to you because your smart or your a good worker. Alot of jobs have a set salary. Doesnt matter how hard you ork or how lazy you are, your still geting paid the same. That was a problem for me in my job. I was working ALOT harder then most my coworkers but since I was the newest, I was getting paid less then everyone else and couldnt get a raise because I hadnt been there as long as them. When I say lazy I dont mean not doing work I mean not doing as much as others. You cant get fired if your doing the work just not going above and beyond.
Anyways, if there was NOOO way you could make money off of your brains, and you really needed the money, and you have a great body that your proud of, and its no more provocative then clothes youd wear out to a club or what not, would you be fine wearing it?

I'd do it. If you are spending the time and the effort to do something and you can make significantly more by showing a little skin, why the hell not? Its not like I'd take off my clothes for them, just wearing it a little tighter. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. Why put in all the time and effort and not maximize your profits. Besides, whats so wrong with human bodies. As women, our figures are pleasing to look at and if it makes a couple bucks more, why not? I say go for it. Just be aware that some customers will think that because you are showing a bit of skin it means they are welcome to treat you like an object. I used to work as a cocktail waitress in college for the shriners. Lots of dirty old men set in their ways that think telling nasty jokes to young girls makes them want to sleep with them... Doesn't work.

lol I like the way you think.
I work at a portrait studio right now making minimum wage (here 9.50) the works stressfull and the people are rediculous. No matter how hard I work I wont be making any more as id have to work there for a lot longer to be considered for a raise. Ive been called every name in the book, stupid wh*re, f*ckin b*tch (who would have thought a family portrait studio could be that rough right?) I guess people just get nuts when it comes to their pictures.. But if Im at a bar and wear shorts n a tight shirt and I make restaurant wage pus an extra 100 a night in tips and all I have to worry about is casual convo? Piece of cakeee..so worth it, and depending the night, make evem more then that. Totally worth it!

I think you have just described what Fashion models, actresses are doing today!!
In fact we see some actresses go naked in their movies, in hopes of reviving their lost career ( ofcourse the role demands it you know ;) )
I think if you got it , you dont mind flaunting it, you should go for it.
Have you tried modelling? You can earn through that and can call it a career as well :D

Haha models make more money
but I also dont feel like going to the gym n starving myself everyday
as for a waitress though, if your getting paid a little less then minimum wage but getting a hundred or more in tips a night, your still making THAT much more then you would if you were getting paid minimum wage, which is what Im getting paid right now. If I can make an extra 50-100 more by wearing a tigt shirt, then ill do it lol, Its summer, I wear less clohes on a day to day basis becuase of the heat then I would at the job. So I dont know why people are all going nuts over women being objectified n all that crap

If I was younger and had the body to show off, sure I would do it. But I am a gramma with extra padding. Now if I could be hired and lots of old guys wanted to look and give me money, I just might consider that, Hehe. Enjoy your youth, it goes by so fast, before you know it you will be a gramma too. Don't get me wrong, being a gramma is some of the bestest times in my life.

Well i'm not a female but I think that if the money is that good then go for it. It's not like you're hooking or something like that right? If it starts to cause trouble for you with friends and family then you might want to rethink you're decision. But I say use it while ya got it hun ;)

I have to admit I have done this. As a teenager I pumped gas and it took no real brain power to figure out that if I wore a tiny tank top and short shorts I would get really good tips....I couldn't pull it off now but if I could I wouldn't say that I wouldn't

I would do it! If you are just waitng tables, serving drinks go for it. It doesn't mean you disrespect yourself, or have bad morals, you are just making a living. Just be careful, there are alot of sick individuals in this world.

Tough call, I'm a guy so an attractive girl is nice to look at but since I'm married it stops there. Unfortunately single guys see it as a sign that you are available and since your "job" is too look sexy they think that they can objectify you and think what they want to make themselves feel like they can. If you have to compromise yourself to make more money you're not really gaining anything.

i think showing skin to get extra money has nothing to do with moral. many girls dressed provocatively even if no man gives them money, just because they like it. if you don't like showing your skin, you think it is immoral, you should give up this job. however, if you don't care about that, just do it.
if i were you, i think i might accept that job because i don't think it has anything wrong. just like singers get paid by singing and dancers get paid by dancing. this is life and this is a proper way to making money.

I think we all have our comfort zones and this isn't within mine. But if you feel comfortable with it then you should do it. I wouldn't judge someone who worked in this type of job. I'd just be careful in choosing where you are working to make sure it is a safe environment to be in while dressed so scantly. I know that nowhere is 100% safe but I'd stay away from the more shadier places, no matter how desperate for money I was.

Well, I wouldnt do it. Whatever money (even If I need extra cash) I earn, I will try to live within my means. If I had to expose my skin and If I had loose morals I would opt for a completely different kind of profession.
