We have the same problem, I think its generally due to prolonged sitting in front of the pc.. First I have a massage every other week, it helps relieve the pain. Second I now have a good chair that supports my back as I work on the computer Third, every now and then I get up and stretch my body, just clasp you hand together and reach for the sky and lean backward, that helps too. My last resort if its too much painful is to take ibuprofen to relieve the pain, I do this only as a last resort if all other methods fail.

See a chiropractor if the pain is bad.If you go to a regular doctor he will just give you pain meds. that lead to a much worse problem (addiction).Good luck

Well I don't know if you believe in chiropractics, but I do. I went to my chiropractor and less than 3 day I was feeling no pain in my back. So I suggest you go to your nearest chiropractor for your back pain.

I do the same exercise that has been mentioned in the first comment, in this discussion. I need to work at the PC/laptop the whole day long. When at home , if I am on my laptop, I try to sit on a chair with a pillow to keep my back erect. This is so my posture is correct and I don't slouch while working on my comp.
