Do you wear someone else's old clothes?

I am from countryside,so I don't think wearing someone else's old clothes which is healthy is not good though I have good salary and can buy good clothes. However, some of my colleague think it is a miraculous happening, but I know they also do so. I don't like this feeling,if you need, why don't you accept this clothes?

no I do not, maybe because as a kid I had an adult cousin who looked down on us as we lived in the country and my mom made all my school dresses. she wou ld bring old clothes that were so worn they were close to being rags and want my mom to take them. my mom told her we were not poor, we could buy or make our own clothes thank you very much. she then handed them back. my mom was an excellent steamstress and my dresses were so pretty the other kids wanted my mom to make them dresses too. no I dont wear old cast offs at all ever.

Life needs to be a bit simple - some green apples,a table and a plate are made of woods. That is it.
I am standing on your side.Sometimes life need to be a bit simple.Let's forget about that dirty thinking from someone who has the big head from big city What you need is different with something what you want.Just like your said if you need, why not accept this clothes.I consider your colleague was not worry about the healthy, they just thought you shouldn't put others' clothes on your body or if you stand with them, they will feel you lose their face(if more people know this thing) what's above is just my supposition, don't mind too much,be yourself, this really is the best choice

You say the voice of mine,I don't think they don't need this, because they often wear someone's clothes that I don't know, but if the clothes is who we all know,I think they won't wear, because they think it will lose face,it is a bad thing,I think.

As a grown up I have never received any clothes from others. I have bought all the clothes in my wardrobe. But when I was a child I used to wear several of my sisters and cousins old clothes. I never felt bad about it. :) I guess I would feel very awkward wearing clothes people other than my close friends or relatives have worn.Otherwise, I think its ok.

Oh,may be it is a bad memory, but I think may be your parents have to do this, because they don't have enough salary to feed four children, but I think they love you, becuse they don't put you for adoption,it is worse! So thank you your parents. Good luck!

If the old clothes are given by my friends, I will be glad to receive them. I don't mind it. I don't like wasting. If the clothes don't fit them any more, why not take it? I love China

There is nothing wrong with wearing someone else's old clothes when the clothing is in great to perfect shape. Who is going to know that it was someone else's clothes, only you. Money spent on buying new clothing can be easily cut in half and the money you saved on buying clothes can go to better things like a retirement fund or kids' college fund.

I agree with you too,I think it is a good way to save money, then we can use this money on the place Where it is most needed.

What's wrong wearing someone else's old clothes ;} i find it very comfortable because it's not new and does not have that stiff feeling because it been already used.. and plus some clothes still look so cool even though it's old ^^

Nope. Never. I give away my old clothes to the needy but personally I cringe whenever I feel that some poor person has to wear my castaways. :(
