this is great info for newbies. i already knew about 99 percent of them, so i was a lil disappointed they didn't go further on sites you can use to find new jobs. elance and guru are great for these types of work at home sites, just in case anyone is looking for some.
its hard when you are in the states and starting out, everyone wants someone with experience or only wants to pay Indian rates.. i recommend doing surveys as a supplement to your income, but again never pay up front fees. i have some great sites on my profile if you want survey or product testing companies.

I am SOOO tired of doing surveys LOL. I love to write and I found a great site that I can do just that: textbroker. It does not do referrals and they pay out with paypal. The writing is easy and there is always work to be done. It is great!

Not a problem. I just went in to check my mail and there it was, so I had to share it. I am now poking about for more articles like this one. I know I've read a few in the past couple of months but I can't remember where I read them! LOL. :) I have a little bit of information on my personal web page. You can find the link on my profile its called acquire your dreams.

I read that, I tried to go to on of those pages, the one where you can make between $5-$20 per blog post. But the link was broken :/

Hmm that is odd. I've only read it, I was gonna check it out in full later (I am at my normal 9-5 job). If it really doesn't seem to work don't be afraid to let Yahoo know, they are really friendly people there!
