Amd Quad is not available in our city. What do be the price to your given configuration.. 22 LCD will cost around 25000 rs..

Well vibes, I suggest you to go for Core 2 duo of Intel and take minimum 1 Gb or 2gb ram, graphics card go for Nvidia, Hard Disk go for highest Gb if you have more storage. Asembling the hardware is good idea but if you want to go for branded ones of Dell and Lenova, it is good idea. Go for it.. What ever never buy AMD without proper guidance. All the best..

Yeah I did had bad experience with AMD processor runned motherboard. My past PC was AMD processor and had problem with motherboard. But the service guy too two months and finally said that the motherboard cannot be repaired, so, I had to change to someother configuration immediately.. Anyhow, thanks for giving me good advise.. :)

you don't tell us how much will you buy new pc or which game do you want to play, i think the strongest computer runs the strongest game a little hard,if you want to play game specially, need ps3 or xbox360 only, for they are cheap, can run all tv games next decade mostly, AutoCad software or the others don't need so high-performance desktop, just my idea. ^^

Are you sure you want a desktop. I will suggest you to buy a laptop due to many benifits. But if you want a desktop for some other work, then try finding a second hand desktop with good configurations or go for an assembled one. You must try ebay.com. I am sure you will get a good one.

The best configuration you can have is a personalized one, sadly no company has yet to throw together the best pieces of hardware to make the perfect computer due to their contracts and agreements with other companies. You say that you don't have budget constraints, I'd look into Alienware with AMD processors. Don't forget Windows 7 is coming out in a few months so if you can handle waiting a few months you will save yourself a couple hundred dollars. Whatever you do I'd suggest you get a highly customizable machine, technology is always changing and you will always want to upgrade your machine without having to buy a brand new one. So it's always nice to have some extra slots for memory, processors and so forth.

Thanks for your advise, I will follow your tips before deciding any PC to buy.. Yeah I have to buy a PC which is compatiable with Windows 7.. No question of buying AMD processor because the servicing is poor for AMD motherboards. AMD generally do not manufacture motherboards but the sister companies which provide motherboards for AMD processor are poor. Especially out of warranty motherboards..
