If that's really you in your avatar, I won't think you have big eyes. In fact, I believe it's the normal size. You look cute as well. I don't know what's gotten in to your friend's mind but I suggest you not to get carried away with her criticism.

Hello and welcome to MyLot. Usually, big eyes are a nice asset, but if you want to make yours appear smaller, this can be done with makeup. A dark shadow applied on upper lid, and a brown liner applied to both upper and lower lids will reflect less light and make the eyes appear smaller. Also, go very easy on the mascara or skip it altogether. If you experiment, you'll find the look you want. Use a darker shade of eye shadow and some dark liner.Light opens up and dark recedes. Same goes for nail polish or lip color. Just like they say wearing black or dark clothes looks slimming.
