Wow!! I don't know which fruit could be considered "best" but I know they are really good for us. Apples and bananas are great as you noted. then avocados are chock full of vitamins and good fats and minerals too! Cherries are very good for you too... so it's hard to say which one is the best! Maybe a good combination of all of them!

I don’t think any particular fruit is that important for me…each fruit has its own nutritional value and its particular benefit for our body. I love most fruits and that includes bananas, apples, oranges, papaya, grapes, mangoes, pineapples…in fact I enjoy all seasonal fruits throughout the year.

I don't there is one fruit that trumps all others but I'd say the four best are kiwis, cranberries, blueberries, and strawberries. They are all high in antioxidants and fiber, low in calories and not acidic like oranges.

lol, u know what... in those 4 fruits, i only tried strawberries but not the 3... i heard about kiwis but i never tried it as those fruits are not common in my country... common fruits here are banana, oranges, pineapple, mango, watermelon. the rest are seldom... apples and grapes are imported from other country

For citrus, I like grapefruits over oranges. They can be tart but are so much more cleansing it seems to the palate and my body seems to absorb it better than acidic oranges. After that, bananas are next, followed by fuji apples, strawberries, nectarines, peaches, blueberries. Organic seems to be best when it comes to strawberries.

well in my opinion the best fruit is pineapple. pineapple is ery helpful for immune system and plus pineapple can ''destroy fat '' ( sorry for my english). i sawed a documentary about fat people and one said that if you wanna drop fat you shouldnt eat oranges all the time. you have to change the fruits, because he said that he eat 2 months only oranges but he didnt drop any fat

hi homeshoppers! well for me, i think i would go with banana. i love bananas! if i were a monkey i'd be the greediest banana-eathing monkey. if i were to choose any fruit on a fruit basket. i'd definitely choose a banana! the biggest one i can find. banana also has lots of potassium which is good for the body. so aside from its rich taste it's also nutritious.

I love bananas, it is god fruit almost like a hole meal. It has god taste, nice to eat and get lots of vitamines to. I can have a fruit for breakfast, but I usually do not, I only have plain simple coffee...and later on the morning after a few hours of work then I have my breakfast together with my co-workers. I also eat my lunch at work, and most of the time I do ask for a fruit instead of those boring desserts for fruit soups...

Hi all,Fruits..I love eating all fruits. They give lots of energy to our body than normal food.We can stay for long time by just eating fruits. It will be not good to say that this fruit is best and tthat fruit is not.I woluld say all fruits are equally important and each one has its own amount of nutrients. We can't replace one fruit with other. My favorite fruits are mango, grapes, banana, sweet lime.Normally fruits have more amount of water content which acts as substituents for body fluids..So its a good habbit to include fruits in our daily food.

i've found that actually people around us seldom eat fruits. i think just because all fruits in our city become very expensive. It's a pity . My father keeps eating an apple a day and he loves it . My husband and i will buy some bananaes sometimes but we will leave most to our small boy who need more nutrition than us . Even banana is ten times expensive than a few yars before. What a life we live !
