Do you like to travel with yourself or tour agencies ??

I am just like you, if I have known that the country do not have proper signages or transportation, I would rather have it with a tour for the first time. However, if I am keen on a second visit, I will do that on my own.. For touring Europe, which I done years back, I do it on my own with a bunch of friends, as then we could explore not just the 'popular' places, we are able to visit other places too. We have more control on our time, and stuff that we really enjoying doing it. Also, if it's a shopping trip, then it will definitely on my own.. with tour agent, can't seems to really shop alot..

I like to travel with myself and arrange everything by myself, which is more free.

I like to arrange my own trip with the help of a good quality travel guide book. I need to bu a flight to a gateway and and travel insurance. Then when I travel from the overseas airport I travel on local transport like buses and trains. Typically I stay in at least five different accommodations like a guest house in a city, a private home in a village, a tree house in the countryside and a beach hut on a tropical beach. I have visited 52 different countries in my life so far. Taxis can be pricey and unless it is really necessary I like to ride on the transport the local people ride on. I don't join a tour group doing so is essential. I much prefer to explore places as an independent traveler rather than a package tourist.

We used to join the tour agencies for our overseas vacations. It's only during the past 2 years that we venture out on our own. It's rather easy, and quite fun. We did our own bookings - hotels and airlines; and looked up the internet for places to visit. We found that the hotel people and the locals were very helpful in giving directions / suggestions on places to visit.

hi there, I'm not quite an traveler, but if I need to have an vacation to somewhere else that I dont quite know about, I would love to attend an tour agency to save some energy to look at a map, find the tour line, a place to eat, or something like that, I'm not quite good at alone travel rely on only a map. I don't like to travel with myself ,neither with tour agencies! I just like to travel with a few friends!You will not have too much freedom and you can't decide if you choose to tour agency!And you will feel lonely and helpless sometimes without a companion!so it is better to travel with friends!
