Do you call your lover in their Name/nick OR in love words?

I call my boyfriend Daddy, or his first full name. And sometimes, when I'm trying to get him to do something or get on his really good side I call him Honeybear lol! But he likes to be called (by his friends and people he meets) Rooster. Which I don't like. I told him I will never call him that, and he introduces himself to people as Rooster, so when I say something to them about him and use his firs name, they're like "Who?" So I have to tell them his name and yadda yadda, and for them to just call him Rooster since that's what he likes. But I'm his gf so i get special privileges. Oh, I occassionally call him Papa Bear lol I don't really like the mushy nicknames, but I use them to tease him a bit.

I call my husband on his nickname :) or a joke name..:p

hahaha...sometimes its corny but sometimes it nice...hehehe i am just 17 when i got my first bf and he's my husband now...by the, because i am young then and i don't know, i just call him "babe" but just for myself...i don't let him hear that coz i feel its eeeew...hahaha and sooner i give that name to the puppy he gave me...hehehe but as years pass by babe evolves to baby...yucks! hehehe and it becomes 'be" hahaha short cut...and up to present we get used to calling each other "be" and we feel comfortable with that....but when i am angry i call him in his first name! hahaha with a stress! and sometimes i don't even want to utter his name and so i just call him.."hoy!"(hey!) hahaha

I do not really care. We usually call each other by nickname (we just took a few letters off of our names" but sometimes we go for "honey" and "babe". We usually call each other by a sweet word when we are sending e-mails. He is the French Toast and I am the Cheese on a French Toast. Though I believe we are growing out of it by the day. We are starting to find such words cheesy. However we do it just for the fun of it.

I call him Jay. It's his nick name, hmmmmmmm. He want to be called as such. He easily get annoyed when I call him babes or baby. Sometimes I say honey! What could you say? Any other word of endearment you could suggest?

I call my boyfriend by Babe, Baby, Love, or his name, Jimmy. I usually just say Love. He calls me Babe mostly. I do not mind those nicknames. It is kind of funny that is makes you feel that way, it does the same thing to my mom. But lately she has been all over her boyfriend saying "My Babyyy!" And i have been the one gagging. I call my hubby dadi and he calls me baby... it started cause we were textmates.. I actually thought he was joking when he asked me to be his GF... so when he asked what can he call me as I said baby and that I call him daddy... It has been like that since then and now that we are already together.. My famiky and friends knows that when I talk about a certain daddy it would be him I am pertaining. We call each other like that anywhere... even when we are in a crowded mall. :-) funny thing though there was this time that an of friend ask me what his name was and I forgot his name... All I can remember is daddy LOL... when I got home I asked him if he knows my name or he already forgot my namel.. LOL...

I have several name to call him.. The first one is "Dd".. it means "little brother" and he call me "Cici" (old sister), Actually this happen because before we become gf/bf each other, we are classmate and we like to play role as family in one class.. It's the name we use mostly to call each other. The second is his first name (If I'm not in the mood) and if I'm angry I only call him "you".. but when I', in the love mode,, I call him "bonsai" it's shortcut of his name and "darling" in my language,,,, Oh, I hope he won't read this discussion! He's a mylot member too! I refuse to be called on sweet words.. it's corny! just call me "Cici" or my name. I feel really shy , yucky, and can badly blushes if he call me with sweet words..

I call my wife as MAMA and sometimes her name..

I call my hus "chand" which means "moon"...When I am very happy I call him like this...he also calls me in the same way...:-)

Personally when I'm dating, I like to call my partner by a mix of nicknames or love words, while enjoying her to do the same. My reason is a bit different, I feel having the same thing becomes too redundant and repetitive at times. why dull a relationship in one area? Everything should have something new now and then, well, that's what I think anyway. I'm a mix of liking it but not so much yucky over it, just more so prefer using certain words to fit the right situations. like special nicknames for special moments, some for meetings and goodbyes, etc.

Me and my partner call each other as Baby. I think its cute especially when we are just alone and doing some sweet nothings together. There are times that he even calls me as Sugar or Snoopy. For me, I like it and I don't mind at all. Everybody is different so I am not surprised if you don't like to be called any love nicknames.

Dear friend, I do have many names and I would like to call that name which my lover likes to be called. But before that I have to find some to love me and love her. I hope God will soon give a love to me also.

well for me.. I don't like sweetheart, or honey or specially baby.. ahzz... i can't take it but I don't actually care about that. Since It doesn't give me any troubles. I want my boyfriend to call me in my full name. i think that's better than honey blah blah

Well, we call each other honey. At first, we aren't use to it but now, we're fond of using that name every time. I remembered when he was still courting, one time he called me "mahal"(love). It's really corny for me and I really don't like it. He said sorry and I guess he felt embarrassed about the my reaction. Finally, when we're officially on, he asked me to choose what love name could we use to call each other, I couldn't suggest a less-corny name other than honey. That's the name I think which isn't that eww..lol Like you, I'm also not fund of those other love names and I find it corny too especially those who call each other mama and papa or mommy and daddy. I really can't imagine myself be called like that nor I can't take calling someone those terms.

Well I call my lover by name. Err, husband by name. I have a nick name but I use it only when I am feeling very huggy-buggy.
