I learned to cope with business losses. I learned to make more friends and less enemies.
I learned to live for my family. I learned to respect all.
I learned not to criticize people.
I learned to cope with criticism.
I learned not to be upset with failures.
I learned not to give up effort.
I learned that nothing is certain in life health, wealth, love whatever.
I learned the properties, education, family -nothing will accompany you when you die.
I learned this world will respect only the successful persons.
I learned that this world will respect only the rich people..........
How about you?

I believe that with age comes wisdom (or something like that) and although I am not that old yet, I already had some experiences that I think are worth 40 years of living already:
I learned...
... that although money is not everything, money is still a big part of our lives. It may not buy us love and happiness but it sure makes life easy to live especially when you have enough or more than enough to spend and save.
... how times flies and that life is fleeting. We should not wait for tomorrow to do and/or say the things that we want and need to say today.
... that even those without a "real" job can earn... online!
... that nothing comes easy. NOTHING.
... to be less trusting to people that I have only met for a few hours or a couple of days. Not everyone who seems trust-worthy are worth my trust.
... how to distract myself from less important things and focus on things that are of more use to me.
... that friends come and go. Even when you have a hundred so-called friends that you hang out in parties with, go out to watch movies, have lunch or dinner or coffee with, there are only a handful that stays with you no matter what. Those people who stayed are your TRUE friends.
... that saving up money is important. Really, really important.
... that instead of sulking about your worries and problems, you can make use of your time wisely and act on it instead.
... that we would all experience to get hurt, get disappointed, be heartbroken, feel let down, feel all alone and lonely. It's just up to us on how we handle those emotions.
... that happiness and love starts with ourselves not with others.

THat was an excellent topic and let me congratulate you on your choice of topics first before attempting a response. I have also learned a number of valuable lessons in life--
1]Nothing comes free in life.
2]Life is a big give and take.
3] EVen close relatives make social chit chat and they are not genuine.
4]If we make sincere efforts God will take care of us.
5] Contentment is the essential key to peace of mind.
6] Never miss the simple joys of life.
7]Never stop making efforts.
8]THe world respects only people with skills or money.
9]We have to command respect if we need respect.
10]Unless we have detachment to many things in life we cannot be in peace.
This apart I have learned innumerable lessons in the stock market, in human interaction [ both in the outside world and among close people].

There are many lessons that I have learned in this short span. Have learned not to believe all the people so easily. I have also learned not to be so helpful to all. Then you should not expect anyone to help u in hour of need. You have to solve your own problem.Face the world, will get more lessons.

I learned a lot of lessons in life. Most of the time we need to make mistakes to know what is right. And I just charged it to experience.I learned not to trust too much as sometimes trusting too much makes people take advantage of you.I learned how to say no.Everyone must learn to say no.

There are many lesson I learned in life, I learned to sacrifice my own happiness to my family. I learned to make friends and live unselfishly. I learned to help without expecting in return. I learned to think positively and treat problems as a challenge and part of everyday life. I learned to talk with God whatever I want to talk with him. I make friends with God. Even I am taking a bath I am talking to him. I learned to be open-minded and understandable. I learned to treat money as a result of my thoughts, and I keep on learning everyday. I take note of that, it is part of my growing up.

Hi vijayanths, A great discussion topic, thank you. I have learned to be grateful for the good things in my life. I have learned to love myself and others and that I can't have one without the other.I have learned that the only person I can change is myself and to respect others for who they are.I have learned that we all make mistakes, and to forgive others, it may be my turn tomorrow. I have learned not to gossip but to speak only good of others. I have learned that it is often better to listen than to speak. I have learned not to consider myself better than another, but to listen to all for we all have our story. Blessings.

Hello Vijay dear,
I been in a hard/hurt situation. The best thing i learned from it is...to stand alone and face what is being left to start with with my head held up high.I gain more self respect, confidence and makes me stronger than before.I learned that life is full of surprises and that life is not always like a fairy tales.Trials still coming my way, till now i am still coping up from the past storms that swept my life. But i can smile now without pain remembering the floods that drown me with sorrows.
I learned that, there is life after breaking up!And it is a better life than having string attached with broken vows

There's one thing i learned about life. It is "you make a choice and never look back".Just follow the straight line.Focus yourself. There will be ups and downs. But be patient enough to stand again and continue to walk to success.

I also learned lot of good things by leaving bad things back..I learned how to control my angryness this can be achieved only by doing meditation or sometypes of YOGA. Pranayama is the best remedy for controlling the angryness.
I also learned how to behave infront of elders however rich you are but lets understand one thing that they are elder than us and they have seen the world more than us.
I also learned how to use the time properly now a days I am not wasting my time I am putting my time such as while travelling I read some good books from which we can lessons such as BhagvadGita, etc.

I have learned to keep friends close ,and enemies closer.
I have learned that hardly nobody can keep a secret.
I have learned to give and receive love without questions.
The rest I am still working on.But I have found happiness without money , we also work on health and keeping happiness everyday.

Hey,
Well I have certainly learned that to never throw my money away to things I don't think will do any good for me. And that is what I had done in the past. So I have now learned from my terrible mistakes. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!
