I am getting tired of what I´m calling mylotters terrorism. Some time ago, mylot did not update earnings soon enough for some people. There were a lot of posts saying that mylot was turning into a scam site, that it wouldn´t pay anymore and so on. I think those mylotters should have some punishment. Some people believe that it is true and start worring inspite of the knowledge that the money one earns at mylot is as safe as having it in the Bank.
So, let´s stop answering those stupid posts please. I wonder if sometimes they only want attention.
Let´s go on posting and sharing our world in this wonderful site. As I said in another post, I used to have breakfast alone as I live by myself. Nowe I bring my breakfast to the computer, open mylot and have breakfast with friends all around the world.
So, let´s forget at what exact time mylot updates earnings and let´s talk joyfully with our friends.
Thanks, mylot, for providing this!!!

I remember a couple of weeks ago, there was someone here who was spreading a doomsday scenario about myLot running out of money to pay members and that some time at end July or early August (I think, but can't remember the date), there will be an announcement from myLot that they are going to have to stop paying... or something like that. That discussion thread I think was targeted at instilling fear and apprehension in members, and I noticed it did succeed to some extent from the responses I read, especially from the newer members. Some members were starting to doubt myLot's ability to pay. I am not sure if you are also referring to this discussion.
Such members who spread false doomsday messages to stir up uncertainties and fear should be sanctioned. But I think the best way to debunk this is for myLot administrators to come out and clear the air, which I remember they did some days later in another discussion. But I feel they could have done it sooner...even right in the same discussion thread where the rumor is spreading. Kill it right there and then, and the whole argument about myLot's ability to pay will end. I just feel this guy who started the controversy was either stirring up some trouble, or trying to score points in the response posts he received.
For me, I never once believed in this. I've been paid six time previously, and waiting for my seventh, and I know that myLot will continue to not just pay, but pay in a timely, no fuss and transparent way. We are here to make friends and to widen our horizon and knowledge through sharing with others around the world, and that's more important for us being here than anything else.

Hi,That is exactly what I was talking about! those are the ones I call terrorists and they should be banned from the site. I never believed them but some people do. And that is bad for the site.
I have been always paid here, but besides that, Mylot provides me with fun and company as no other site does.

I totally agree in what you are saying! I got caught up in that hype and was starting to believe all the mylotters terrorism! I also got caught in some of them discussions! after a day or so I realized there were trolls spreading all the false rumors! If there was going to be changes at Mylot they would tell us! As soon as all of this blew over the trolls have seem to disappear! I hope Mylot can set up something to to filter out the lies before they get people all upset, like me! I love Mylot and I have made new friends! I would go nuts if Mylot wasn't around! It is part of my life! I will never let rumors on Mylot again!

THe thing is that if a site is not made to get rich, but to share, if a certain day earnings are not posted at the right hour but post are working as usual, then nothing wrong is happening
Mylot is the best!!!

Very well put! To me the friendships and conversations with people I've met and care about is the best part of myLot. The money made is more like a gratuity.
However, I can understand nervousness when there is a delay in updating, as many have been stung by other sites that have unexpectedly closed. Perhaps people can have a little patience before sounding an alarm. As in the story of Peter and the Wolf, if you sound the alarm too many times, when you really do need it, no one will listen.

Thanks, friend! I know, people get nervous. But they should keep their nervousness to themselves for a while. You can´t feel a person is dying when all he needs is a bandaid.
Hug!!!

I agree with you. A lot of mylot users were worrying for nothing and then they would start saying derogatory things about mylot, that really were unfounded. I was one of those that was trying to tell then not to worry that mylot is legit and pays. Finally, when the updates did accur, it eased most of the mylot users minds, but then you still had some that were spreading their vicious rumors trying to get users to see their side of things. I for one, new better and it was just someone trying to start trouble and that kind of trouble we sure don't need here. I just wish that people wouldn't get their knickers in a knot and be patient with mylot, especially on the weekends. After all, they do have a right to take it off if they choose to. Maybe one of these days the users will understand and stop posting the earnings didn't update discussions. I for one, don't like to see them either, but I do try to help them to understand what is going on. Mylot is a great place and no one will ever tell me any different. Good luck to you, and happy mylotting.

That scammer or trolls already banned by myLot so don't you worry. I know they will find a way to get back here soon enough, changing their identity, but I'm sure I'm not affected by them, I just ignore all kind of flaming discussion. Sometimes I also wonder why some members got easily hooked up by that discussion. Anyway, myLot actually have 2 major filter for that, first is the admins, and second is the members. So, if they probably can slipped through admin's eyes, we as members should be the second shield, the way to do it just by ignoring that discussion, easy job isn't it?

Like i said before, "Ignore them, as if they never Exist" but yours is also true. these mylot terrorist trolls will take their chance if mylot seems to be absent for some reason. if there's an announcement, it won't be in the discussion, but in our alert feature. good views. have a great day

I agree about not taking them seriously. But mylot has no competition. There are no sites half as good as this one. Trust me.

I think we should ignore such people who spread such thoughts and keep on posting.

Since I'm new on myLot, I'm not familiar with the incident or the discussions that you are referring to here. I do know that some people are quick to judge and worry about things like that, but their concerns are not necessarily unfounded. I know of other sites that have scammed their members, and it started out with delayed payments, then things didn't get updated on a regular basis, etc. I'm not at all implying that myLot is doing this. I am only saying that perhaps these people were not just trying to stir up trouble but were concerned from past experiences.
