Do you have lucid dreams?

Do you lucid dreams often? I have them pretty often. If you don't know what lucid dreaming is,it means that while you are dreaming, you are aware that it is a dream. People who have lucid dreams can control their dreams as well, which means if you have a nightmare you can turn it around into a better dream. I have lucid dreams, it's pretty fun to do your own thing, but I can't think about it just being a dream too much or I end up waking myself up! And most times I like to just go along with it anyway, and sometimes I stop and think, "This doesn't even make sense," but then I just go along with it anyway. So, do you have lucid dreams? Do you ever control your dreams?

By your definition, I frequently have lucid dreams. I can't really turn things around and change outcomes very much, but I can tell that I'm dreaming and so I'll have fun and do things that are totally crazy since I know I'm dreaming. But the way I've always heard of lucid dreaming, is that you know you are dreaming but everything feels real and you can't wake up. Like people who feel vibrations and they can't even scream or anything. My ex-girlfriend had those and she told me they were called lucid dreams. I thought that sounded horrible, but I think they were brought on by her horrible diet.

Oh I think night terrors are what you were describing. Your body is still in the paralyzed sleep-state but your eyes are open and you can still be seeing dream stuff and you can't move. This usually happens with really bad or scary dreams.

Her eyes were still closed, and she wasn't actually moving at all. I guess she just felt like she was and she wanted to scream. But I would be close by and never knew anything was happening. It was weird.

Sometimes i get a feeling while im having a dream that i know deep down its just a dream! Not sure how to explain it but i guess its something similar! Although i dont think i can controll my dreams as such! Sometimes i can wake up, and then fall asleep thinking about what i want to happen in that dream, and i can fall asleep and have the SAME dream and the thing i wanted to happen does happen. Thats pretty cool!

Yea that's the feeling, if you sort of try to mentally remind yourself of that when you get that feeling in your dream, yo will be able to have more control in it.

Yes I do have lucid dreams. There is nothing wrong with dreaming as our imagination wanders through any thing and its free. I can't control my dreams when I am sleeping at night but when I am awake and dreaming, I can control it. Most of the things that I have in my daydreaming have become a reality and not just a fantasy. A person can't success or achieve in something if he/she does not have a dream.

You're right, nothing is wrong with dreaming. It gives your mind a needed break, if we didn't dream we would probably go crazy. And just because you don't remember your dreams doesn't mean you don't or didn't dream, you just can't remember.

I had a few lucid dreams when I was younger. It must have been about 15 years ago. I don't remember the details of the dreams, but I remember the feeling. It was really strange to be able to control the dreams. I was able move around in the dreams and I was able to go somewhere else if I wanted to. At that time I didn't know the name of that kinds of dreams, I just thought that it was a strange experience. I haven't had that lucid dreams for many years, or at least I don't remember having that kind of dreams.

Yeah they're pretty cool, though sometimes I am actually an observer, watching myself act out the dream, which is weird too, watching yourself like you're right there.

Hi Dreams great stuff when i start into dream travel its going into space controled and escorted by white shadowed beings. You think about what you want to say and, its interpreted, i havent had to much control of my own yet as im still learning everthing is real color, building, people, except im able to pass into and out of solid objects. The people are an outline of there self from a distance with all clothes, color, looking normal. When up close its just an outline figure thats clear to the view of human form.I dont know if this is lucid or not but i do know it real.

I have lucid dreams most of the time and it's in our advantage especially when we're having nightmares or dreams that are not so good. I tend to "manipulate" my dreams when it's lucid but there are also times that they just feel so real and I end up getting disappointed when I wake up from a very beautiful dream.

I have a few of them. Most dreams are pretty blurred. I think dreams are sort of reflections of our thoughts. If you are scared too much, your dreams will be more or less the same. Do you think so?

As often of the cases like i am not good feeling of my body ,i would have lucid dream , it's weird , i merely make dream at night eventhough i did , it's not lucid and quickly forgotten when i wade up. i have one friend , everytime he make a dream ,he would write the dream out when the first time he wade up . i think it's fun , and there is one book called" dreaming parse" , i havent watched that book yet , but if anybody interest in "lucid dream" ,i suggest that would be a good refer book.
