Despite all the evidence to the contrary, there are still those who don't believe that we have something called a sixth sense. Most of us however have experienced this and know that there is something very real about intuition, not only that but we use it in our everyday life. Often we have the feeling that someone is upset and we can use our instincts to guide the conversation in a way that is more meaningful for them. Using our feelings to steer our communication so that others are more comfortable not only deepen our relationships, but might also give us additional insights into how to hold the problems of people in our lives in greater compassion. We may notice that we become a better communicator and listener as a result of our increased understanding of others.
Learning to use our sixth sense to aid our interactions makes us more receptive and sensitive to the problems others face in their lives. Even though some of us may not feel comfortable relying entirely on our intuition, allowing ourselves to tap into the knowledge it gives us helps us see meaning beyond the words we hear and open our hearts to people in a deeper way. When we reach this level of openness and understanding, we are much more approachable and present for others, and this makes all of our interactions richer. By using our intuition in our conversations our openness and understanding will help our relationships flourish.

Hi, Hence Sixth Sense is nothing but the power of perception independent of 5 senses, touch, sight, smell, taste, or feel. Everyone has it, Nothing to fear, It is a scientific, Mental Tuning. I do not believe in the Sixth sense of ours, but sometimes i have node that i can presume something which happens to be true in reality. Once i told one of my friends that today it would rain. And it rain afterwards. And my friend phoned me to remained me of my foresaying. Everybody has got some intuitive power. That intuitive power might be said as the sixth sense of ours....

Hi suneethamalathi, I agree that everyone has this ability and that there is nothing to fear. It is more developed in some than in others but I think that if we work with it most will find it very interesting and even useful. Thank you for your comment. Blessings.

Yes, I believe so, sometimes it' just like you know what you have got to do about this and that. I have that feeling once in while and it is always true... I think it is very weird. When it comes to that, the feelings just come right to your soul and you can make the decision easy..

There is a 6th semse. Yes, it is the sense that warns us to be wary of a strange place, of certain people. You just dont feel right about something. You tend to feel uncomfortable and just not right. You cannot place your finger on that feeling. That is the 6th senze, also called your gut feel.

I strongly belive in sixth sense.I heard that sixth sense is the 'mind' itself, which control our thoughts, behaviour and most of all other five senses.I heard some true stories about that.
Ancient indian saints had powerfull sixth sense who find the fortune. They wrote it for human race and called it as 'VEDA'
It says that all the animals and humans have a powerfull ability more than their normal sensing power. It have no language,no sounds,no visuals.
There are many daily situations that we accidently using this ability sometime a child will feel his/her mother's responses, person feel somebody need his/her helping hand
so all we have sixth sense it is not come when we need but accidently.we can improve this by meditation and yoga

I do believe in sixth sense soemtimes. I will tell you how it affected my life. When my mom was sick of severe stomach pain sometime ago, I got the feeling that I need to make a call to my mom and she is sick. I found that it is true when I made a call and she was expecting my call.
Also, soemtimes I feel that there is something wrong going to happen. I will be very upset those times without reason. When I said this to my husband, he laughed. Believe me, something or the other will go wrong at that time. So, I think there is sixth sense, but it won't work always. You can feel it sometimes.

Hello Pose,
this is really an interesting topic. YES, I do believe in the Sixth Sense. I have felt it many a times and there are a lot of incidents in my life that approve of it. some people have it, some people don't. sometimes I get a gut feeling that a particular thing is going to happen and it does indeed happen. Again, it doesn't happen all the time, as then I would turn into a fortune teller but yeah, sixth sense does exist!

There are so many reasons and experiences that prove to me that what it is called sixth sense exists that to me it is as usual as my other 5 senses. What I find strange is that no one doubts that you can see if you are not blind but sixth sense is a matter of faith.
I suppose the age of reason has minimized psart of the brain of many people. But while reason functions with one side, the so called sixth sense functions with the other.
Even something so obvious like physical attraction depends a lot on that. Ans dislikes are not some we can reason about either.
Take care

Hi Pose, i believe in sixth sense.I can always hear voice guiding me through all my activities. If i follow it things go right and when i ignore it things so wrong. It could be a matter of belief also. At the same time as someone has said you use your brain a bit extra due to which you get the sixth sense.
I also get certain visions daily when i pray both good and bad. I do not reveal it any of my family members as they do not believe it and call me crazy. But I have seen that those visions happen in real life at a later date. Now i have understood that it is a warning to me by god.
My mother had cataract operation and as i am a reiki healer my sister told me to pray for her successful surgery and speedy recovery. When i prayed something in me told that the operation will not be completed and the doctor will leave the table mid way. I was wondering why i felt like that. The next day my sister called up to tell that the doctor could not complete the operation and left it midway saying the problem is complicated and they have to look out for some other centre and specialist to complete the surgery. My parents had to come to South India overnight and get the eye operated successfully. They live in North India and had to travel with the eye bandaged like a pirate.
Happy mylotting.

Yes. I believe in sixth sense.
I have experienced it, so many others whom I know, have experienced it.
I remember in school, one day I told one of my friend what he would be having for dinner that night, and it came true. Next day he was excited and said, tell me something nice for tonight. But I didnt feel like.
Some day after, I felt he would be eating "paav bhaji" that night, I told him so, and guess what, his mother had prepared it for dinner.
This happened 5-6 times like that, but only with that same guy.
Many times I somehow feel that the day would be good or bad, and most of the times my "sixth sense" feeling, turns out to be true.

Hi Sixth sense is nothing but intimation of feeling thing, touch, smell before it actually starts. Sixth sense is basically a hidden feeling, which can be any where, anytime and can be experienced by every human being. Some times we take it as granted and sometimes we pretend to have such feelings but in true sense it is GOD,s hidden gift which can be realized any point of time. Thanking You Happy Mylotting.

I believe.. I have strong intuition. I have sometimes the feeling of premonition.
Needles for me is a medium, i always got bad feelings if i break one and worst of it if i break 2 or more. Some one will die or a major dilemma would occur by the coming week, so i tell my love ones to be ready for what is coming.
I even sees things that others don't see. I experience lot of esp events even when I'm sleep.Others don't believe until an evidence shows.

I have my own thoughts of what we call the sixth sense, I am not a religious person but I do class myself as spiritual, and have had a few very convincing readings by spiritual readers and i believe we have spirits around us, now my theory and it is just my own thoughts is that little inner voice we get at times advising us , warning us, or just prompting us in the right direction is actually a special message from one of these...I believe we all have3 them and I really do think we have this speciqal magic...

I believe in sixth sense. According to some paranormal experts, everybody has sixth sense, but most people are not aware that they have it unless they saw creatures and images not visible in the environment. Sixth sense is also called "third eye". Some people's third eye are open, some are not.
I am glad my third eye is not open. But I must admit that I have a very strong intuitive character and sometimes I used it when I am in a very difficult situation. Most often than not, my intuitive sense is very helpful. ;-)

Pose-
I agree, it's like any other muscle in our body if we want it to work well we must use it daily and keep it healthy. I think that meditation upon the third eye chakra can be very beneficial in developing our sixth sense awareness of those around us. I also too feel that living a compassionate life daily can aide in this as well. We must also develop and use our empathetic muscle on a daily basis so that we will be aware of those around us in a compassionate nature.
I also agree that the more open we are as individuals about our lives, feelings, viewpoints, the more we allow others to be open about their views, lives, and so forth. If we all learned to be open and understanding we'd live in a much different society.

These 'sixth senses,' meaning more than one, are natural, God-given gifts to us, instilled sometime probably between conception and birth. They are called spiritual gifts, and some people have one gift while others may have a few or many, but these gifts include - prophecy, seeing visions, claervoancy as is called by Spiritualists, speaking in tongues, seeing into the spiritual dimension, or seeing or hearing things from the spiritual dimension - I hear things from the spiritual dimension, but as far as i know, i have never seen things - this my true word, i have been hearing voices since i was twelve, and i am now almost nineteen.
