Making money on the net is often hard work with little reward... at first.
Considering the cost to you and lost time with others... is it all worth it?
Please share your stories of how others encourage you, of success however large or small makes it worth it. Thanks...

I work online as a virtual assistant. And for now, though the pay isn't that big as my regular job in the past, it still is way better than other jobs because I get to stay at home while earning. A big plus for a new mom... especially because I also don't have to set aside for transportation expenses.

How do you become a virtual assistant. I tried once but never got paid! Can you give some advice?

I understand. The competition for online jobs is a little stiff too. In fact, I am maintaining only three employers, yet I am still searching for more. I have discussed tips on how to get a job like mine on my blog (you can check it through my mylot profile). I hope you'll find them helpful. Goodluck!

Its so much of hard work. I feel I have been typing for so long. But if I see my earnings, there is not much significant improvement!

Yes, you are right. This time we have to give our family members, by which we will get love and affection which is reqd to live, Money is reqd. but not essential as love. By love you can live in any condition. But money makes quarrels between two living animals. So earn with dignity in social life. We should not forget that we are part of the social life. Which is only possible by participating in that, not by writing blogs.

My answer is Yes, it is worth .For every MYLOTTER, i think we would not just for money to come together. but the idea is that we can know more thing and get extra paid , for myself, i alway browse the website and forum, and why not choose the post-to-paid forum than a not paid one. and the key value for me to join in MYLOT is that there are many people whoes come from all around the world come together , and from this websit , i can touch newthing and make some friends . it's great!

Like if I have nothing to do at home and the weather is pretty not now in the summer I often myself dwindling around GPT sites, if I'm really active I earn double digits max. But its actually kind of a fun experience than doing nothing so I'd say it wouldn't waste my time as much?

I just recently started working from home (this past week). I found a site called rat race rebellion. they scan a bunch of work at home jobs and tell you which ones are for real and leave out the scams. that's where i found MyLot, so far this is the only place i have earned any money through. I am hoping that once all of my profiles are set up and i get a reputation then money will start coming in. i signed up for four ejury sites, where i hear trials and tell the lawyers what verdict i would give. and a few survey sites, along with a couple of website testing sites (where i record myself using their web page and tell what i think the good points and the bad points are). and then there is the data entry site, i found one that tests you on your speed and accuracy and determines the amount of work you will get that way (instead of requiring a degree). it is a lot of work i know i work longer hours than my partner does (who works out of the house) on top of doing all of the house work and making the meals, but to me it is worth it. to be able to make my own hours and keep the house running.

I don't make much money at all on the net. What I do make...ya..it is worth it. It does not take away from my time doing other things and being with other people. A good portion of my time spent on here is late at night when I get out of work or when I have all my other things done. It is time I would probably spend on here anyway. It is relaxing and I enjoy the people. The money, however little, does add up and has come in handy a few times. This is really the only site that I earn on. I'm on helium but so far haven't made payout.

Yes, I agree that making money online is quite hard especially if you don't have enough motivation in what you do. You should really be patient if you wanna earn here coz a lot of sites will offer you to earn money cent by cent. imagine how hard it is for you to earn a single dollar right? I think in order to earn more, a good investment here is enough knowledge on the ways to gain money. Reading and searching for trusted informations are very helpful. And, you can also be inspired to other people who has been in this kind of business and now earning big bucks. Their experience can be your motivation to work hard and be on their league too. Happy earning!

I definately make more working for myself offline than I do online roght now, but a lot of that has to do with the amount of time that I spend on my computer these days. With my offline work, yard work, errands, and the kids being out of school for the Summer, I have spent very little time at my desk these past couple of months. Is it still worth it for me? Yes. I still make a little extra each month, I feel like I am doind something good for my family, I am able to save a bit because of the things I do online, and I can do it when I have the time, not on someone else's schedule. It also helps me to relax a bit.
I think that too many people expect to make millions on-line in an instant, getting their hopes up way too high, and when they find out that it really does require work to make money, and it is no where near millions, they become discouraged.
I know that there are plenty of ways to make a decent living working on-line, but it is work and you do have to really dedicate yourself to it. In my situation, I simply do not have the time right now to do all that I really want to do on-line, so I am slowly getting myself back in to a good routine and managing my schedule a bit better. If I continue the way I am going, I will end up making a decent income on-line. To me, knowing I can do it if I really apply myself is worth the effort it will take me to get there.

I think I sit on the fence with this question. I dont think that I am paid according to all the work I really do and yes I work hard as I dont have any refferals. I dont have an attitude like others and think its shoudl be easy I do know that I have to work at it to be successful.
However, I am a sahm with 3 kids ages 5, 3, and 1. So when I do reach payout I am thankful as something usually is needing a few exra dollars that I cant find anywhere else! But it does take alot of my time to make those extra few dollars. I usually average 100.00 a month!

This is my first to work with the net. Yes its true at first. Bcoz as beginner I try study the system on how to get a reward. Yes also at first you recieved a little reward but maybe if you have learn it and you adjust your time maybe in future you can have a higher reward. Bcoz you already adjusted on the system or the rules on how to get money in the net. It encourage me since that I was working at home during my free time before I just play games in the net but one of friend told me if you can play games why don't you join the discussion and earn. So I try. Now instead of playing games and waste my time, I earn, learn , share, while not wasting my time. For me it worths.

I've never really tried to make money on the net. However, from what I observed and read, seems it's true that the time/effort spent may not be proportionately to what's being 'earned', ie. little reward.
However, if one was like me being unemployed due to retrenched and couldn't get a new job due to being pregnant, trying to make some pocket monies on net is quite an good option esp. when you are supposed to stay as much 'bedridden' as possible.
