2012, Are You Ready To Die!

Hello friend, with all due respect to your source of information and your feelings about it, I cannot do anything else other than laughing at it and before you rate me negative for disagreement, please read my reason for it: I have heard something like this at least four times in the past decade or so and none of the times something dramatic has happened.I once heard that an astrologist had predicted that the Oxygen on this Earth would end by 2004 and there would be no life left.. these things bemuse me now more than anything.. As far as poverty, financial control and famine are concerned, the world has been facing these problems for a while now and it depends on how our countries deal with them and how we contribute to the cause.. cheers and have a happy life!

ready to die? not me. i am still very young age, still long way for me, lots of thing i not yet do. i not yet getting marry, not yet travel around the world, not yet fully enjoy life, not yet have my own child. so many things not yet done. so i conclude i cannot die now.

well this date is mentioned by quite a few ancient civilization predictions. No otehr date is this popular, so something very significant must be happening in this period. if it's an end then it must be a beginning of something too. anyway if I must die in 2012 then so be it, I'm not really concerned about it. my spirit will come back in another body, may be an alien next time, who knows? The only thing fascinates me about 2012 is I am curious how will it end. So I'm gonna try my best to survive until Dec 2012, hopefully I can take picture or write about what happens before I die. That would be very nice thing to leave behind for whoever finds it later on.

Who knows what 2012 will bring. I guess we won't know until we get there. As far as America taking over the world, I really don't see that happening. Actually right now, China has so much power and America is in debt to the Chinese. As for oil being the main reason for invading Iraq.....you could be right. Bush lied to us about so many things with that war ....who knows what the truth really is.

You have this so wrong, it's not even funny. The USA is going into debt each time that Barack Obama opens his mouth. China's been buying up our debt to the point where they pretty much own America. How can you possibly say, with a straight face, that America is out to control the natural resources of other countries? That is a flat out LIE! Where in the world are you getting your news from? Please do some research on what's actually going on in the world today instead of spouting off stuff that everyone else is spouting off.

I don't know what will happen. Is it really true? If it's true, I think i can't do anything to change it. I will cherish every minute now to live my life to the fullest.

I don't believe in that 2012 Doomsday that almost everybody is talking about. Its based on the Mayans Calendar (which are one of the ancient civilizations) and has no scientific explanations as well. This is almost the same with the Y2K Bug Prediction 13 years ago. Nobody is ready to die yet, not even me but I will live my life the way I want it and to live it to the fullest.

i dont even believe in the whole idea that the world will end in 2012. eventually human existance will cease to exist, but not at that specific date. its just a big hype that people will try to take advantage of. it takes a large leap of faith to believe in something like this. without facts, i dont believe that this will happen

Hello, Last time I heard they said the earth will be end in 2010 and now 2012? wow, what is that. I know, it is really truth and I think is killing us each day already... it doesn't have to be effected by other stuff... cuz it is start to hurt and kill us already.

I think America is not a problem. Venezuela not play with America. I'm afraid of environment. There are many many factory through out the world. And I think that, enveronment is the best problem make you die.

It will suck if the world did end in 2012 but I think 2012 is too early. I think the economy will improve in 2012 because we learned from our mistakes and we try to fix it to make the economy better. I expect that I will still be alive in 2012 and move on to bigger and better things.

We don't know anything about near future,even tomorrow.What really matters is that we should live meaningfully.Imaging something out of question maybe wasting your precious time.World is not in our anticipation.Have a positive perspective and don't let negative sides envelop your life.We can all live happily to the very end.Be optimistic!

I think I'll be ready to die any time any day. No matter when and no matter where, people will always worry about everything around the little planet we live in. And believe it or not, no matter how hopeless it seems to be going on, it's going on like a circle. Everything turns out fine temporarily because at least there are still people worrying about the problems and seeking efforts to solve them. Let's hope for the best and we whatever we can to help make our world a better place. But if eventually we fail, it's not our choice to say whether we are ready or not, we'll surely die.

I think that saying the world is going to end in 2012 is just another way to get everyone all excited over something that is not going to happen. And if it does, why prepare? You cannot prevent it from happening so take it as it comes. I am not sure about the financial situations of other countries, but I know America we are in a recession, so we may hit a depression we may not...the economy has a natural cycle, so stressing out about it is not going to solve the situation. We have successfully avoided a depression the last couple recessions. In my opinion we are over due for a depression, so i will not be surprised if it happens. The funny think about America, we do not need to seize the wealth of other countries, our government tends to print more money than we have gold to back it anyway. This is something I have learned about in highschool, and in several college courses. With all of the other terrifying predictions that have been made that did not come true, why worry about this one? In my opinion it is a publicity tactic for the media to have something to encourage people to tune in to their show, or read their paper. The media is excellent at munipulating the publics opinoins and beliefs. I personally do not believe it...I will not believe it is goingto happen until it does.

I've heard about this too and my teacher in class talked about the en of Mayan's calendar and it makes me scared. I keep on pray nothing worse will happened. I haven't ready to die yet! I haven't reach my dreams and I'm not sure what will I do if 2012 become the end of the world.. I have heard about the world ends in 1999-2000 but nothing happened.. Hope this one is like that too. I must admit that now I can do nothing except praying

NOt a chance. It didn't work back in the Year 2000. so, what's the point of the 2012 this time. if there's going to be the end of the world, that would be us doing it. Id like to see that for myself, but for the moment i would do things that i do my entire life before it does end..

Hi there. Well, the world will eventually end some day but a new world will be born. For now, nothing will happen. I still remember at the turn of the new millenium (1999-2000), people predicted the world will be in catastrophe because of the '00, yeah the Y2K thingy, but hey we're still here after 9 years. I'm not laughing at you or at anyone who believes that the world is ending. The fact is, no one could predict accurately when things will happen. We have to prepare for it starting right now.

The bible states that not even the angels know when the end of world will happen. Could be tomorrow or a week from now maybe it will be in 2012 or 20012.
