i totally i agree ego is the thing which pulls a person away from compromisations coz they hv a feeling that they go down or they loose their self esteem by getting a compromise with their spouse and compromise is the key word for a happy marraige and ego is the only enemy for that so i guess apart fro infidelity ego issues also count as a good reason for a divorce

I personally agree. That should really be the only reason as well. So people take marriage for granted. I think if you make such a huge commitment to someone you should both be willing to stick it out. Everyone makes mistakes and if the person learns from the mistake I think they should try to work ot out. If you have a person who just doesn't get it then yes it is grounds for divorce. Most people can solve the problem by simply not getting married. Know in your heart what you want and don't ruin someone else's life for your own selfishness.
