Do your referrals really work?

Supposed that people signs up with your referral and then reads the guildline, he will find 25% of his earnings will belong to you. Is he so stupid that he will continue to use the account instead of just signing up a new account without any referral?
I prefer not to recommend my referals, since earning money is not the main aim for me to come here.

ive had only 2 referrals sign up under me, but they only posted a couple times. i probably gained only 1cent from them. its really hard to get active and reliable referrals. i havent really been pushing towards getting more referrals, but i plan to in the near future.

I do have referrals but they are not active. They don't gain anything if they sign up without any referrer. So there is no reason why they shouldn't join under someone as it doesn't make any difference to their earnings.
Referring is something done to help a person to find a nice site or program from which he or she will benefit. It is like recommending something which is good. So it is not just about making money, but to help others to find a nice website or program.
Regards

I have 7 referral but unfortunately they are all not active member by now.
I do not know why they are not active because i can ask them for further. I have referral from my blog, i am reply to their discussion and responses but no reply.
About earnings from referral, yes we have bonuses from their activities but it is not reduce their own earnings.

Yes, you are right.
I have some referrals and they are not active at all.
I think somehow it is because the amount of money in mylot is too small, and requires too much work to earn.

It's great that making money isn't your reason to come here! The referral isn't that you get someone's money. They get all of the money they normally would, the person who refers them just gets a little more! It's a great way to do things because people wouldn't refer people if it was the other way around. It wouldn't be worth their time.

The 25% is not taken from the referrals sum at all. Mylot matches 25% of whatever the referral makes and gives it to the person who referred him or her.

I don't have any referrals here and I am on my own here. By saying that the member will get 25%, they mean that they will be given an extra incentive of 25% of the referred members earning. The referred member will keep getting his earnings at a full 100%. Hope this clears your confusion.

ya they really do work, the problem is getting people to stay active on this site. my boyfriend has 2 referrals and one is active and the other isn't. so there are times where they are good and others where they are bad. it really makes a difference when you have some one that is active because it allows you to make more money and you can reach your payout faster. i wish that i could get some referrals that would be active, but its hard to get people to join. I've gone as far as posting it on traffic site think that i would get referrals that way but nothing so far.
the thing is that when he makes money none of it gets taken form him, so like if he made $1 that day you would make 25 cents off of that, but he would still have made a dollar. he doesn't loose money by signing up under a person. it allows you to make money off of that person for their work on this site.

Mylot is a site for people who enjoy their work and it is not designed for the purpose of earning and I never have the tendency to make big money by mylotting as I know that it is quite not possible to do that here. Hence i never recommend any referrals here as it is a meagre waste of our efforts and they end up saying that this is one of the boring sites ever. Hence I would suggest to do mylot on our own and never ask others to become our referrals. Cheers. Have a great day":-)

no 25 percent of his earnings wouldn't belong to me. 25 percent of his earnings of what he makes will be added. like he still keeps everything that he makes but you just also get 25 percent of he makes. i hope i explained it clearly i hate explaining stuff because people still end up confused. and referrals really work. i love it except my referral hasn't been coming on much 8( she made me 50 cent. she saved me 5 hours on the computer so thats pretty nice. but if she doesn't log on anymore that 50 cent will be deducted.

I think you have misunderstood what it meant with the 25% earnings. It doesnt meant that 25% of his earnings will go to you. It meant that you are entitled to an amount 25% of his earnings. He will still get his 100% earning. You are getting the amount equilvalant to 25% of his. Why not work that way? Why be selfish and sign up another account? You should be thankful for the person who introduces myLot to you and continue using that account. Happy myLotting.

Hi studentabe,
As the others who responded before me commented, you misunderstood the rule, they've explained enough already and I don't wanna be redundant.
I have signed up as a referral to those who I don't even know personally, members who introduced me to sites by just sending me links (of course I try to check their profiles first and visit/ask questions about the sites before signing up). I don't have problem signing up under them, they don't take away any of my earnings, I exert the same effort with or without the upline, and there is no added burden to me, so it's okay to let someone benefit from me. It's not stupidity, it's more of understanding the ropes of social networking. Thou shall not be selfish, may well be the "golden rule" to follow.

Hi studentabe!
I am new in this site as referred by a friend, it didn't matter to me if she earns from me or not. All that matters to me is that I am enjoying sharing ideas and learning from same. I always have an idle time of my day and just making use of it, something which is of significance. Have a nice day ahead!
