One of the reasons I spend my time on mylot is to get traffic to my website. But I have not got reasonable traffic from mylot. Why? may be the mylotters think that there is not much in my site on how to earn on internet. But the fact of the matter is they can find some useful blogs on how to earn online. They can also find some interesting blogs on love, relationship, numerology, self improvement and philosophy.
How about you mylotters? do you get traffic from mylot?

no and I think its unfair to use mylot in that way, I did not know that mylot let you use your discussions in this manner, I thought that was prohibited. I dont want traffic from my lot that is not why I am on mylot.you are using mylot for your own gains. thats just not right.

No my friend, you can promote your website without breaking Mylot's terms. You should not drop deliberate links that do not have any relevance to the discussion. On the other hand you can drop links that are relevant to your discussion. We are here for fun and for making money. You can get traffic if you could create discussions and respond discussions diligently.
This is my opinion.

I am not good at blogging but I do have a blog that is in my profile page which is more on baking, a hobby that I have cultivated since young. There are three more in the pipeline that never seems to have visitors as I have not publicize it widely. Mylotters are too busy mylotting and don't think they have much time to peep through my blogs but I have a friend here which I subscribe to his blog as I am drawn to his short stories.

Yes, it is ok if we don't get traffic from mylot as long as we enjoy mylotting here. we share our ideas and gain some knowledge from others. We make friends. We have fun.

I don't think that its very helpful to get traffci, all the people have joined so many sites that they have to go at all of them one by one, so its just by chance that we get someone's attention to our blogs, those who are interested in the topic may go....anyway there are many other ways to get traffic from....so i go for them..working hard to get success in blogging ..good luck to u also

Mylot has never been a good source for traffics , because not too many people bothers to check out you profile and to your website. I do becasue I am intersted in what the person is. Some here posting for the money and not so much on discussion. I don't have that much traffic to my site either. But it's ok. I get traffi from somewhere else

you are absoultely right club80.
I just wanted every one to know that we are not taking interest to view profiles and visit fellow mylotter's website.
Time is perhaps the main factor. Every one is having limited time to spend at mylot. We have to create a few discussions or respond to some discussions and earn a few bucks every month.

I've had traffic from MyLot to my site, but only if the discussion is relevant to my site. Posting a link is ok providing its relevant to the discussion. For example I wont post a link to my site because it has no relevance to this discussion.

You are right, there are a lot of mylot members with blogs with so many useful information. But I have also noted the same. Not many are interested to visit blogs. Perhaps it is because most members are quite busy posting discussions and replying to discussion. Well, I would surely check out your blog and maybe perhaps find interesting things on it. Best to you and keep on blogging!

I don't use myLot as a referral place or a linker site. I never through myLots mission was that. I'm sorry to inform you that. You can take the risk in doing that here and see how far it gets you. I doubt talking about your site draws interests at all. There just isn't enough text or words you can bring into this to make people go there. Unless you breach the privacy and terms of agreement.
God bless

I have not tried myLot to drive traffic to my website. But, I think its difficult to drive traffic regularly from myLot. To drive traffic from myLot, you got to post or start discussion which will make users to view your profile. I guess the users will go to your website from your profile page of myLot for the first time. And everytime there is post that requires to see you profile and website, at least I will ignore doing it again.
