Lately since becoming unemployed recently I have found myself mylotting more planted in front of the TV watching movie after movie- old or new. I just got done watching for about the 4th time "Boiler Room". Yesterday I watched "Why Did I Get Married", "Diary of a Mad Black Woman, and "A Family that Preys" -- haha I just realized that my day of movies yesterday consisted of all Tyler Perry movies...lol...I do love him ;)

The last movie I saw at the theater was Hangover. It was not what I would call a good movie. But it was a funny movie. There were lots of funny parts in the movie, and I laughed a lot. There was not much of a plot just 4 guys getting in to a lot of trouble in Las Vegas before one of them gets married, but there is some funny and surprising funny parts.

I read a review of Public Enemies, and although the review was so-so, they raved about Johnny Depp's performance. Has that man ever been bad in a movie?! lol I can't wait to see him as the Mad Hatter in Alice and Wonderland. Can you imagine? Well, I haven't been to a movie theater in what seems like ages. The last movie I saw was one I rented from Netflix. It was Pink Panther 2, with Steve Martin, Emily Mortimer, and Jeremy Irons was even in it. I think Jeremy Irons just lost some "street cred" by appearing in that film. I'd really like to see a couple of movies that are coming out soon in theaters. Julie and Julia, and District 9. I've heard District 9 is looking pretty awesome. Have you read or seen anything about it?

last movie I seen was Knowing. It was a pretty good movie. Makes you think how would the world come to an end. Everyone knows its coming just how and will it be where some will survive or would we be wiped out completely.

We just took my dad for a (late) Father's Day gift (along with my mom of course) to see G Force. It was really fun. I was shocked at the higher price charged, but the digital 3D and upgraded glasses really impressed me. My parents are in their 70s and enjoyed it as much as my son and I did. Was a really fun event! I am anxiously awaiting the new Sherlock Holmes movie coming out in December with Robert Downey, Jr. That is the one I want to see. Have not see or heard much about Public Enemies though it did look interesting.

I saw District 9 last Friday. It was kind of boring, they did it like a documentary which made it kind of slow. There were some cool aliens, cool weaponry some good fight scenes and good special effects, but they way they did the movie made me feel like I was in a classroom being forced to watch a documentary.

Oooh, the last movie I watched was Ice Age 3. It was very hilarious. I watched part 1 and 2 and I could say I love the 3rd installation best. I couldn't keep myself from laughing my head off. It was really great. I was so stressed before I watched the movie because we had a lot of quizzes and recitations in school but after I watched the movie, I felt 200 tons lighter. ;)

I have always been partial to things about foreign countries and other cultures.
The last movie I actually saw (over a year of unemployment has taken its toll) at the theater was Slumdog Millionaire. I thought it was excellent even though in many ways it was not my normal kind of movie. I would strongly recommend it.

The Haunting in Connecticut and personally, I hated it. ... The movie was very cliche and not really all that exciting.
