I MUST GET MYSELF A 50mm!!!

I am so so so so so very thirsty for a 50mm. I am saving hard for it. It's expensive to me for a Sony 50mm 1.8 because I don't have enough budget for one. I set a timeline for that. I must get one by 05.09.2009 !

why do you need that before September though? anythin special on that date? oh well, i suggest is that you can just buy some pre-owned lenses available online. But make sure that they are still in good condition.

There's nothing special on that date. It's just a time line I set for myself. Set a time line and this push you. Otherwise, there's never an action. Pre-owned lenses.. I don't know about that. I prefer a new len. =)

Well, 05.09.09 has come and gone. Did you get you lens? I have a fast 50mm on my Canon 50D, but honestly, I don't find much use for it. Why did you that particular focal length?
