I think both are harmful. At the same rate, smoking can kill both the smoker and the people around and also the environment. However for drinking it not only harm the drinker but innocent people got into trouble when one is drunk. I think both are dangerous and should be controlled and stopped.

I would say both, equally. Smoking can kills you, and also people near you. Also, if you have a baby in your tummy, it affected too. Drinking, well, you're out of control when you're drunk. You could kill, hit, stab or anything. It's also considered harmful.

For me it is both harmful for me. Although you got a point about a smoker can also damage other peoples health specially those around him. About the drinker, well he will definitely harm his liver and other organs when too much. But if you love a person, you will tell him to stop drinking because it is also not good for the health.
It does not make you win, either you are a smoker or a drinker, nothing is good at it at all when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle. Happy Mylotting.

Smoking and Drinking both are injurious to health but,I think drinking is more harmful due to some reasons.Drinking affects the body parts liver, and sometimes drinkers forget the family and sell their home for money and always do drink.some person Drinking occasionally, but some persons always do drink for enjoyment and this enjoyment makes a person daily drinkers.

i dont know why people drink or smoke.. and i dont approve of either.
both are harmful - but if you want me to pick one - i would say smoking is more harmful, because of the 2nd.hand smoke which actually more dangerous.. and what i hate the most is to see men smoking in the presence of their small ones - that happens a lot in my country!!

They both are harmful
With smoking it may or may not cause harm to people that smoke or people around them. just because you smoke does not mean that it will he harmful for your health. But it is a possibility.
With drinking, it can also cause a few different health problems. Drinking problems can cause all kinds of problems with loved ones and the people around you.
I do not know the numbers but how many lives are affected every day buy someone drinking and getting behind the wheel of a car and causing a accident, how many people die every day because of this, and how many people end up in prison for causing the accident.

Well in my point of view both are harmful. Most things in life are harmful but why we do it is because of our lifestlye it becomes our culture or just plain habit. I am a smoker and at most times i wonder why i even smoke but i can't quit. I used to drink but i have since stopped for no rhyme or reason. I have been sober for one whole year i might add. If you think that smoking is harmful to the people around us lets take a look at drinking ......i would say rowdy behavior, drunk driving and the ever so famous excuse " i was so drunk i can't remember i got married to a stranger in Las Vegas . Well at least now you have another view to see it from.
You take care now. But i agree that smoking is actually more harmful to ones health even you if keep it moderate it is still bad.

For me its smoking is harmfull than drinking. Bcoz it affects lot of people around them by 2nd hand smoker. Drinking is harmfull also. But it only 2-3 person affected by means of car accident. Only the drank person harm itself. For me nothing I choose for smoking and drinking. Both of them are not good in our health. Both of them are harmfull....

yes the aspect that smoking is harmful not only to the person who smokes but also to the people around him, makes smoking more harmful than drinking.
not only bcoz of the above reason is smoking harmful, there are still more reasons.
people dont get that addicted to drinking as they get addicted to smoking.
i have seen people who just cant avoid smoking even for a single day,but for drinkers its not like that they can control and avoid sometimes.
what smoking does is it creates a stress in the brain and the addict feels so restless if he doesn't smoke at that time.
also people addicted to smoking find it difficult to quit than those addicted to drinking.
