What Is The Strangest Place Your Cat Likes To Hide?

My husband has a suitcase sitting at one end of the living room that he's using to store his clothes, since this apt. is tiny, and we don't have much closet space. Our cat likes to climb in there, and hide. Sometimes just for fun Hubby will close the suitcase, and seal the cat in for a minute. LOL Then he'll let him out, and the cat will rocket from one end of the apartment to the other. Where does your cat like to hide?

hi there, One of my cats, Fish, once hide in the drawer I forgot to close that I used to put my underware to, and I saw the drawer opened, I went there and closed it. So I didnt see Fish the whole day until I found him missing and start to look for him here and there, finally found him in the drawer and he jumped on me. After that, he's pretty much well-behaved than before. Good day!

Hi danish...That is too funny! Our cat likes to hide in any boxes we get. If we get any box in the mail he tries to squeeze his fat body into it which is funny in itself - funnier still is the fact that he thinks that we can't see him if he actually gets into the box!

Gee, which cat? LOL I have 10 of them! Imagine that! Well, I have one that loves to get in my bottom cabinets and hide. I don't like it but since there's no dishes in there, I don't mind too much. Another has trampoline legs because he can jump really high and loves to get on top of my cabinets and lay there. He doesn't bother anything, just likes to be on TOP of everything. lol

The cats I grew up with liked to hide under the blankets on the bed we knew where they were coz of the lumps in the bed but I guess that they thought we couldn't see them coz they couldn't see us.

My cat i had a few years ago used to love getting himself under the fridge he'd reach out through the edge of the fridge and get your toes. I often found him sleeping there. He also loved sleeping in ANY paperbag that was around. As well as under the edge of my round table when the table cloth touched the ground. He'd lay in wait for my sister to go past then leap out and try to attack her butt.

i know my cat likes to hid under a chair or bed. it just has to be some where dark and hidden from view. he usually hides when strangers, or someone that he is not yet comfortable with is in the house. and if hes not hiding then he is attacking them lol. i have found him once in my cabnit, but i don't know how he got there. i just grabbed him and put him on the floor and when on my way with what i was doing at the time.

It does not count as a hiding place, but I have one that likes to lay in or on the birdbath. It has a wide edge and he lays there, and hangs his head over the edge, just looks like a pool of fuzzy melted caramel. He does also spend entire days in the apple tree watching the birds.

They like to hide in boxes. One of our cats loves to go into the closet. He had a ball in there and will go to sleep sometimes as well.

When my cat was a kitten I could not find her but herd her little meow. I looked and looked could not find her. So I went to my couch and their must have been a hole of some sort, and she was inside the couch .O it took some time to locate her and get her out.

My cat will sometimes hide on top of the kitchen cabinets, the first time i saw her there it scared me. Other than that she hides under my bed....She always runs under there when the phone or the doorbell rings. LOL She also likes to jump in the empty laundry baskets.

In the boxspring, she clawed a hole in the mesh liner and goes there whenever she is scared.

My cat has no favourite hiding place, and that is why it becomes quite hard for me to find her everytime. She likes to hide beneath every object that has some height, but many a time she hides in places beyond my imagination, like the small empty space beside my PC cabinet, or the little space i have beneath the almirah. It becomes harder to get her out.LOL

My cat loves to sleep and hide in my son's old baby swing. When I see her there I am reminded of how much she thinks she is my baby. Sometimes we even rock her in it and she stays!

on top of the fridges & cabinets - they can't get under beds - ours have storage under them - I do have one that seems to like to sleep in one of the cat litters - go figure - not hiding exactly...

Well, my cat likes to stay outside during the summer ,so she usually hides inside the dog house since she knows that the dog hates his dog house. Ha Ha!

My moms cats like to hide in the clothing dryer. If you were switching clothes over or forgot to close the door tightly they would use their paws to open in and climb in. They also love to sleep in the bathroom sink. I know it's not much of a hiding place but it's where one of her cats love to sleep. It used to be a hiding place because we would never be able to find the cat for a while until you would go to the bathroom and see the cat sleeping.

One of my cats likes to hide under the duvet. She will leave her tail sticking out and the other two will start pouncing on her! She then shoots out, and runs down the stairs. They also like to play in paper bags and pounce out at each other. Most of the time though, they much prefer hiding my things rather than themselves. They like to take things of my dressing table and hide them under furniture and cushions. Sometimes they hide things so well I can't find them.
