Hello there folks,I find this hard to comprehend, a lot.
Everyone is looking for a buck, I came in and asked how much should I pay to test software, or webpages if I need it.
One response and vague at that.????Huh?what's with all the give me some money, and when I want to, no-ones around.
I want to establish a precedent before I go any further.
Come on folks, I only want some folks to test some software and view some unlisted websites as they are designed and updated, it's what I do for a quid, help is appreciated. Saves phonecalls to HQ.
Come on, I want to give my money away for your services, please, tell me how.

Your post is a bit confusing, I'm not sure what it is your asking about. Are you testing the waters for a task? If so, is this task to test out websites and software? In this case, I would say a buck is probably a fair payment for a thorough examination of either. At least this is how much I would like for such a task. But it is going to vary from person to person.
